Default NSR slowing down?

For you guys who regularly fish the river, do you find that the action has really slowed down in the past few days? Pretty sure the fish are still around, and I'm still catching the odd walleye here and there, but nothing like a week or two ago.

I usually don't bait cast much, but i find it slows down come fall like starting in mid September. Although, I snuck off work early on friday and had my spin cast with me and caught a walleye with an hour of labour before it. I almost gave up as this time of year you see no followers, or have no odd bites, or nothing jumping... I cannot say Jay the last time I actually fished in november and actually caught something. I think we are past borrowed time now.
