Bad River Ontario. It's where the Key,Pickerel, and French Rivers join at the Big Water of Georgian Bay. Absolutely beautiful country with Trophy fishing for Muskie,Pike,Walleye,Bass.......even a chance at hooking into a Sturgeon or Channel Catfish while targeting Walleye.

I'm from Northern Ontario and fished there twice in my teens. We targeted Walleye and only started fishing near dark and trolled around with huge floating Rapalas until we had our limits of 6 each. One night when we returned, the smallest on the stringer was 3lbs and the largest was a shade over 13! I am going to see if I can get someone to go...... possibly this year.

I miss Ontario Fishing sometimes.

Mine's pretty simple. Just out the front door and down the street. My fav spot on the Sheep River is about a 5 minute walk away. Love to just wander over on a Sunday morning. Not the most productive fisning spot in the world I'm sure, not isolated, not wild. Just a convienient little get away that takes virtually no effort or planning.

Don't think I've found mine yet, but hopefully lots more years of fishing to be had. But for now probably Wabamun because I love catching big pike and it's about 30 minutes from my door step.

Whitefish Lake in The porcupine mtn's in north western Manitoba. Walleye 31inches have been caught, pike up to 46inches caught, perch up to 14 inches caught. Also tons of whitefish. A great place to camp and fish in june.

Default Your favorite Canadian Fishing destination

I may have a new favorite destination in July as we are going on a fly in trip to Trout lake in Northern Sask. Big pickeral & jacks. Can't wait it as this will be my first fly in fishing trip.

Well I caught tons of master cats on the Red, so it's not really special to me. So I'll have to say the Valley river back home . Caught lot's of suckers, pickeral, jack and even shot some buffalo fish with the bow as a kid as it went through our farm. My boy caught his first on that river. Ice fishing is pretty too.

For one of my favorite spots... I would have to agree with big cougar, in Algonquin park Ontario for Brookies... lots of memories as a kid. But My all time Favorite spot would be the lake of the prairies on the manitoba side and the assissippi area... so many different species and great slot limits , so you can catch some big ones too!!!
