Great shot, but I do think the Oilers Dman should get an assist on that one.

Backlund my man. Oohs back on the PP, looks like Flames have rattled their cages, they are just going cheap now.

He's not getting any help back there. Russell wasn't even taking a swing at the puck.

It must hurt to lose even more when your top guy looks like a punching bag at the end. The McOilers made it interesting though.

Yeah, I'm a bit taken aback that nobody jumped in, stood up, brought justice, or even looked like they cared...what has become of hockey?

Congrats on the win ladies. I shall take solace in the fact that we managed to hold you to only 5.

Pulling away on Winnipeg and Vegas too and slowly catching Tampa. Steady progress. What a season so far.

Vegas killed the penguins...7-3...they’re gonna be a handful.
Good to see the boys win in Edmonton.

Yeah lets hope if things stay the the same as the way they are, Sharks and Vegas go at it first round of the playoffs. Beat each other up first.

You'd think that would be a major motivator hey. If we slip to 2nd or 3rd, we're potentially playing a top 5 team in the league in the first round. Stay in first, and we're potentially playing Minnesota, Vancouver, Edmonton, etc., a 16th to 20th place team in the league. I know to win the cup you have to go through them all, but I'd rather sweep 8th in four and let Vegas/San Jose beat each other up in 7, then play them.

I couldn’t stay awake..... I needed a bath cause I was covered in elk juice.... wifey wouldn’t sit by me.... and truthfully.... a bit sore from packin out that critter. (I’m gettin old)
And TC sent me a gift bottle earlier in the season. I figured I’d just change our bet to a ‘have fun on the Whiskey Trail and get a bluefin’ gift.

Is it just me, or is Neal actually looking engaged again?! Timing couldn't be better.

Yeah, if they could actually make playoffs. I am not sure they can. They seem to have some ok players (And one AMAZING ONE) but they have no team. No drive, no heart. When we would finish on the CUSP of the playoffs they would make fun of us for having a middle level pic. They seemed to think that being in the Lottery was a GOOD thing. That little plan of attack isn't working out. Whats worse is the fact they are waisting years of some really good players. Not to mention the hell they are putting the fans through.

I'm not really seeing it with Neal. Watched him skate in big circles again for most of the night. I would be happy to be wrong, and see him come online and start scoring some goals...

I was thinking the same about Ryan the last couple of games... really, the whole team looked like they showed up last night.

I know everybody knows Gio has more than 50 points, but to put it in a bit of perspective, he's tied with Ovi and has more points than Malkin, Giroux, Backstrom, Seguin, Mathews, Hall, etc.

We may have to lighten up about pointing stuff like that out, it seems to be triggering to some Oilers' fans and next thing they are talking about Dynasties and how the 84-85 Oilers were the best team EVER!!! Sure, it was like 34 years ago, but we can't ever forget it happened...

They were talking about Oiler fans complaining the 960 AM this morning too, about how a present day talk show was talking about the present day. Warrener then went on a ramble, mentioning Hagman, Setaguchi, Jooris, Brouwer, Bouma, Grossmann, Colborne, Jones, Shore, etc. and then they finished off with a text commenting on the classic Oiler's fan, living in the past.
