It's just the pic, Chubb
Yeah, I got mail today; a bunch of foam flies that look uncannily like the ones in your other post. What a coincidence!
Just like your Blindman Stones, they look like real fish catchers; can't wait to test 'em out. It's the right time of year for those, after all.
Once again I find myself thanking you for your generosity; you are a generous soul, Chubb. Maybe the AO forum should register as a charity, so you can at least get a tax deduction for the gifts you bestow upon us...
Sending good fishing karma your way, my friend!

Your welcome Bob, but its you thats helping me. Tying is therapy for my hands and its hard to be motivated when flies arent out fishing and just stacking up.

I know lots of you are hesitant to post fishing pics for numerous reasons, thats fair. Its been the best crankbait season for walleyes for us in he past 4 years.
Post your pics of your favorite battle scarred warriors of the season

Here are a few old ones of my first and only salmon fishing trip. What a blast catching pinks on a 6wt and chums on an 8wt. These are from Bella Coola, BC. What a nice part of the country.

tararuss, what you need to do is put your curser over the photo on photobucket (don't click on the photo, click on the "image code" that will drop down). Copy that, then on Alberta Outdoorsman, click on the "insert image" button on the menu. Enter your copied "image code" and the photo should appear when you post.

[QUOTE=chubbdarter;1056801]Noice work Snowshoes......more wieght? bigger hook?
weight was good. we were in a lot of slow deep water. did have quite a few short hits and near hook-ups though. longer shank hook possible? 6 casts into the first pool and two different fish showed themselves to the fly but hit short. impressive, but not at all surprised they worked well.

Awesome looking flies Chubb.
I'm no artist. I can hardly tie my boots so they are extra impressive to me.

[QUOTE=Fish Hunter7;1057595]got the flies in the mail today from chubbs(thanks) and went out and tested them. when i got there i noticed a few pike going through the large 2inch minnows and casted the stone by them and on the 2nd cast i landed this bute.
Nice pike, FH7.
Blindman River pike on a Blindman River Stonefly; very appropriate.
