What was the Flames record against the Avs in the reg season last year? Swept the series if memory serves. Seemed to work out quite well.
Haha back to this are we? All good let's discuss the Oilers playoff run last season. Would be a short conversation, but if you want to let me know it went giver.

Basic reading comprehension shows it was an Oiler fan that brought it up, again.....

I'm thinking playoff RUN might better describe that Flames performance. Yeesh. There's failure to launch, but then there's failure to launch with aplomb.

Hard to determine which team bombed worse. There are some benefits to crashing 3 feet from the ground vs 3,000.

GO I’M Not SURE YET!

There shouldn't be. We can't watch Vegas fans heads detonating up close.

Sounds like it's Rittich vs Lehner.

Lehner has been really good since being dealt.

This is how it played out in my mind....

Sportsnet: "We're doing an all female broadcast for Women's Day on Sunday!"
NHL: "We're closing the dressing room to the media on Sunday".

Anybody else turn the sound off on the game? All I can hear is Charlie Brown's teacher, but talking fast.....

It's absolutely brutal. I turned my hearing aids right up so I could understand. Then I took them out and turned the sound down. Yay for Women's Day, and all that...but wow. Brutal.

On the positive side, Leah makes Cassie sound good.

I am trying to find an away stream to watch the game, or I'll just turn it off and go do something else. Sounds like I'm watching an amature broadcast of the Letterkenny irish.

I'm thinking Talbot should be in net. Don't know what is up with Rittich but he isn't looking sharp.

I agree...I am tired of Ward playing Rittich when Talbot is hot right now...We are going to pay for that tonight....2-0

Vegas breakouts are amazing..

Goaltender interference when the goalie is 2' out of the blue paint is a ridiculous call. Especially when the goalie is looking behind him, and the puck is in front of him, as he has no idea where it is.

Totally agree. Incidental and minor contact. You have to flip coin to know what is or isn't interference anymore.

Johnny almost had another chance to try 5 hole....

Well, it wouldn't feel like Vegas if they didn't get 6 would it?

Besides, Oiler fans figure that's a sure fire way to success in the playoffs, lose the season series.

Lucic with a goal and an assist tonight so far....If I was Reaves I'd watch out for the fight..... they were chatting right at the opening faceoff already.

Rittich....gave away the top of net on a bad angle. He was a bit of a stump tonight, sub par. Should have gone with Talbot again.

Oh well....
