Review for newcomers

PLEASE READ!!!

You MUST give a Pif before you can claim. Do not say " I want the 'widget' and I am offering a 'widget' ." I will get the mods to delete any replies not in the correct order.

If you want to play, round up your pif's and get in the thread.

Try to keep your transactions as close as possible in value, do not take a riding lawnmower if you gave a match box car. Keep it fair for everyone.

You can give as many pif's as you wish, but do not claim more than you have given.

The giver is responsible for shipping. Please do so within 3 days of your gift being claimed. I still get the odd pm about not receiving pifs from last year.

Keep everything other than shipping addresses in the thread, pm's claiming gifts are not to be used. The format is again, give a pif, quote the reply of the item you would like, and add "I would like this please". Very simple.

Now that we have a charity recipient, you can show an asking price for your pif if you choose.

Outbound Streamside V Dome Tent - 5-Person, 3-Season

Some specs here: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/out...eason~p~1740r/

This is a heavy "car camping" tent. It has been used three times.

Please note that I still need to examine the tent and ensure all of the parts are there (should be) and that it is mold and mildew free. I'm posting it a little prematurely, as I keep flip-flopping on giving it or keeping it. Well, it is posted now.

I would greatly prefer local pick-up. If I have to ship, it will be via Grayhound, and may take a while.

I think if she saw me that she would decide pretty quick that I'm not a gal

Plus he's getting two cakes this time so I'm sure he'll be able to have some.

Sure thing, Mac.

I've just opened her up, and everything looks and smells good. I think one peg is missing (there are 19 . . . seems like a strange number). I'll pick up a couple more pegs at CT and then we'll arrange for you to pick it up, or we'll meet somewhere.

Okay, here's a super deal for someone who wants a tremendous piece of American shotgun history and loves BP cartridge guns.
I fussed about this for two days, and have decided to put it up as a Stollery donation

It's a genuine Parker PH grade 12 gauge ( 16 gauge frame) .

Damascus barrels that are very solid and in excellent shape and mirror bright.

Box lock, twin ivory beads.
I have fired BP shells out of it -80 grains and 1 1/16 OZ loads, but i know it will handle any BP load anyone deisres to shoot out of it.

triggers are great, as in the wood and general finish
Stock has a decellerator Old English style pad on it.

A donation of $400 will be needed to the Stollery fund , and a PAL , of course - this is a STEAL of a deal for a gun like this!
