People claimed them before they were actually put up, leading to some troubles.

I received a PM from DuckyHunter, saying that when he gets a chance he will put them up, hopefully with pictures.

I am hoping that everyone will catch on to what we are trying to do here, and most people know this, but as there is still some confusion as noted by the PM's I get, so here we go again. (ABBigBore, I know you understand, this is for new guys)

PIF means PAY IT FORWARD. This thread is not intended to be for trading, auctioning or selling, give a gift and take a gift.

Post a PIF by saying 'this is my offereing" and show a pic or URL if possible,

Claim a PIF that someone else has offered, not casually mentioned in passing,

if you want to keep playing, post another PIF

Nothing is spoken for until the giver says "here is my PIF"

Anything mentioned casually or pre claimed as far as I am concerned does not matter.

We don't want anyone saying "If someone lists a bright green widget I am claiming it, then I will try to find something I dont want to give away later"

Other than a few hiccups I think the thread is a success, look at the view and replies, it is astounding!

PIF

1 pair of over the calf moccasins.

These have been worn, they are a mens size 9
They do not have a solid sole, rather they are leather.
There is rabbit fur (no relation to lola) around the tops
A fair bit of beading.

These were custom made in Sask for an old friend. I have had them since 2002 and wore them maybe 3 times.
They have been "smoked" to cure the leather. In good condition. Great for wandering around the house or such.

I have been getting a few PM's and emails about the PIF thread, and want to add something.

I love that everyone is getting into it, and I think that giving and gifting value is becoming more fair, but I think we should stop insisting ;

"I want whoever claims this to make a xx.xx donation to the Stollery"
This is supposed to be absolutely voluntary and fun.

Please PIF what you want, donate cash if you want, but if we can let's stop demanding donations.

If you agree or disagree, please let me know in PM only and I will adjust the thread to what the general concensus is. Again, we don't want to be arguing on this thread, but I would love to discuss with everyone.

BB416 asked me to post on his behalf, that he will PIF one 'topless massage' provided by BB416 himself.

Thanks. That is all for now.

Sounds like this should be an auction item, I bid $5.00 NOT to have him show up topless. If I lose, Fishingmom can have him.

Bushmaster 1025 BRH Mini binos that I bought for bow hunting and never used. Quite clear and fit in a pocket.

I'll put up $10.00 to have him show up at RockyMtnX's house.

I would like to add a new PIF item

I would like to offer a day fly fishing on one of the many rivers in Southern Alberta.(once they open of course...lol)
I am not a guide or even a great fly fisher but I can catch fish and can put someone onto fish.
I have a spare rod if needed and ill provide the flies.
I can do a local Calgary pickup or meet you somewhere and carpool from there.

Preferred to go to someone in the Calgary area.

What a great Idea to support the kids.

Default Pif

I have rethought my above PIF. Both items will go to the claimer and count as one PIF. After all you need the light to get to your stand to use the binos.

I havent looked at the mocassins for about 2 yrs and now that I took them out I noticed that the fur is broken on the one.
Since they arent commercially made I am not sure if anyone would interested in them for anything other than display.

AlbertaDiver got this one, 7mmremmag got the second one,so since they seem popular I'll put another one up for grabs

OK found another item to PIF.

It is a Lincoln Professional Lever Action Grease Gun Model 1151. New in Box, never used.

For specs :

http://www.promarkindustrials.com/1/...rease_guns.htm

It is kind of heavy so prefer pick up. However, I will be going to Tofield to pick up one of the PIFs I claimed so that might make it easier. I am located in Wainwright. If by chance you know someone coming to or near town than it shouldn't be problem to meet up.

Trying hard to upload a picture and its just not working so google it or send me a pm with email for pics!!

So this should give me a PIF credit!!

Default My PIF

Fellows,

I have to apologize but the mice have stollen my 30-06 brass. Took the tub and all. I cant seem to locate them anywhere. The goose flute made by Sean Mann is still up for grabs. I will post a picture of it later
