All kinds of incredible stats to go with the 13 in a row. One of the most impressive is 11 games in a row allowing 2 or fewer goals. And it was either pre-game with Jack Michaels or during the broadcast with HS, the Oilers had killed off 31/32 penalties or something like that. Can't find it online.

And like McDavid said…. ‘Spec won’t be talking about Oil defense accomplishments ….’

Can’t stand that guy…. Putz of a journalist.

I believe The oilers now own the record for longest win streak by a Canadian team. Previously held by the Montreal
Canadiens.

For sure he will add some grit and create turmoil in front of the net, could be a really good fit, when you have to play against him you hate him but now I'm liking this

Ken Holland took a chance on Kane so hopefully this works out just as well

He was almost a point a game on a very sad Chicago team. How many points would he have with Connor Brown's opportunities?

Kane has worked out immensely.

Corey Perry admitted to alcohol issues and grabbing a staffer butt at a party.

Was it deserving of termination? Don’t know the whole story.

Perry has alway been a strong player on the puck. He should be a step up on the 4th line. Whose he replacing?

Picking up an experienced 4th liner for zero assets is huge. Easily an upgrade over Erne, Gagne, Hamblin. He’s an absolute pest and plays RW. Too bad he wasn’t a few years younger.

Probably most important is he has won a Stanley Cup. He brings the right mind set to never give up and keep fighting.

Hopefully he kept in top shape.

I think Perry will work out well "IF" he get's his booze under control, nobody is without their personal problems and like all people he deserves a break, think how much stupid stuff we all did while under the influence that never cost us our job or our career, It has already cost him the best part of $4 million.

He is a guy that can help the Oilers on the ice and definitely in the dressing room

I see the maple laughs did us a favor yesterday and beat the Kraken, sweet

"IF" he even has an alcohol problem.

That whole story felt like a cover up.

I think he will be fine here and a welcome depth addition at a low cap hit. Just like Kane. Fortunate circumstances for the Oil to make a pickup they cannot afford.

If it was a cover up then I doubt we will ever know, Perry admitted he had a problem with alcohol and he also said he inappropriately touched a female at a party while he was intoxicated.

If the Oilers didn't sign him, you know someone was going to. I'd rather have him on our team, then play against him. Especially if we can go deep in the playoffs. Might even need his presence to put a lock on a playoff spot. The teams playing well, but we haven't clinched a playoff position yet.

I'm pretty sure if the Flames had a bonafide GM, they'd have been in the mix for Perry. He picked a team that gives him the best shot at winning another Stanley Cup. Amirite?

Perry has won a Stanley Cup, Olympic gold, World Junior gold, World Cup gold, World Championship gold, an Ontario Hockey League title, a Hart Trophy and a Rocket Richard Trophy. He's played 1,273 regular-season games and 196 more in the playoffs.
