During a recent debate between Bill Nye and Ken Ham the most poignant question asked was "What evidence would make you chain your mind?" Was asked of both speakers.
Bill Nye said, and I am paraphrasing, that show me where simpler (older) fossils are mixed with more modern (newer) fossils. He welcomed proof, verifiable proof. Ken Ham replied "Nothing you can show me will change my mind"
That was the penultimate question that sealed the whole debate for me. Who had the open mind?

So because someone has something harder somewhere else that makes it
Ok to treat people here badly ? I don't see the reasoning behind that statement at all. Arizona is in the United States and their constitution says everybody is equal under the law.

Or who was more sure about their beliefs? I don't think that you experience atheism in the same way that you experience God. A persons faith in God can grow to an unbreakable strength. Can a persons faith in a lack of God do the same?

You don't like gay people and any excuse you can find against them is good enough for you. But me I like freedom and not lumping my fellow humans together In groups.

I was just trying to point out that it is strange to care more about gay people being offended in America, than families getting slaughtered abroad because of their faith.

Well, I can't see how there would be any verifiable proof that there isn't a God. This all seems too complex.. The universe, the earth, our existence, our thoughts.. none of it seems random to me. To me it screams creator.
