X2. I do this for all my 2 strokes. 5 gallons of 94 octane VP ethanol fuel runs me about 75$ and lasts me for 3-4 years. I only use the fuel in chainsaws and weed whackers.

I buy race fuel from AFD and mix my own 2 stroke oil in. About a 1/4 of the price of the premixed stuff.

4 litres of Stihl premium high octane pre mix is $40.

For all those buying premium for a Jerry can unless it is a dedicated pump run 10-15 litres in to vehicle to purge the line. Then you will actually be filling it with premium.
This used to annoy my when filling my motor bike as you’d pay for premium but only receive about 2 litres after purging the line on a multi grade pump.

My point exactly.

That's why when riding with friends, always let them fill up first!

Oh my, someone has been tricked by math.... It works out to about 1 oz of fluid per foot of hose. Basically you can estimate 1 litre with standard fuel hoses from pumps.

I sorry but this makes now sense the inside of the hose would have to be at max 1/4”. Of you turned the nozzle over I’m sure you could that oz into the spout and not over fill it.

If I remember correctly, the ID is 5/8" on most fuel station hoses... From the mixing valve to the end will hold 1litre max is what the calculations say... Don't shoot the messenger, there is more than enough discussion on this subject on other forums..

Now, your original claim to 10 - 15 litres in the hose is something that makes zero sense.
