Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm wonderig if I should scope it with a Leupold, or change up to Zeiss or Swarowski? I have Leopold on most of my rifles now. Hmmmmmmmmmm......

Do you have a problem with your Leupolds? If no, why would you want to spend more? If you are not happy with the quality then by all means upgrade. I'm a Leupy user and I've never encountered a situation in which I've said "Damn scope! If I had a better one I could make this shot!".

Thats all I use to, I see no need for the big dollar scopes...Leupolds work great. Different story when it comes to bins IMO but you dont use your scope for spotting...

I bought the exact rifle this spring. It is a sweet gun, very light. I did notice a bit more of a kick at first, but I put on a limbsaver recoil pad and I hardly notice it now. The factory pad is crap. I was just teaching my sister how to shoot last week and she nailed a milk jug at 200 yards first shot. She was pretty excited. She was really flinchy with other rifles, but said she couldn't feel the kick on this one. I hope to break mine in on my Cadomin sheep in November!!

Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40 or 4.5-14x40 with BC reticle gets my votes. That's what I have on my 2 Tikkas T3 270WSM's and have a new 4.5-14 for my Sako m75ss 270WSM
The BC reticle works great with this caliber

Had my rig back to the range with some quality ammo launching 140 Accubonds, and I was on as well. One ragged hole at 200M.
Love the Sakos and the 270wsm.
