Ouch...hope they gave you some good stuff to help relieve the "mild discomfort." One of those medical terms I've never quite understood.

Hope you're up and at'em sooner than expected, Rocky.

Speedy recovery buddy. With all the time on your hands the miscreants on here are going to think there is a new sheriff in town! If they were smart they'd help set you up with a nurse to distract you...

Hope you heal well and completely.

At least you won't have to shave that leg now eh?

Better question yet though, is will you shave the other one to match?:sHa_sar casticlol:

Dan told me it was, "Rider error". Bugger sounded eeriely similar to Mrs Tree every second Thursday night.

If the plan was to find a nice young lady for BB416, he's gonna have to break more than just one bone!

The bigger question through all this though, is.........how's the sled. Hopefully it has fared better!

At least now you can get a T-shirt that reads, "I went sledding with Medic Moose and ended up getting screwed!"

Kidding aside, get well soon pal, and we're all real glad things didn't turn out worse.

Well since it is actually multiple screws I guess that meant he was screwed multiple times, the definition of an orgy. Dan could finally claim he was involved in an orgy.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I am sure there are a few folks here that were hoping I was in the pine box, but sorry to say NOPE, I'm still kicking(well not really kicking) LOL.
First off I would like to send a BIG THANKS to MedicMoose! Thanks for everything
Oh yeah I hate to break the bad news to you BB416, but I didn't find you a Mrs. BB416. I got a little occupied with a few nurses/candidates for myself.
I ended up breaking my Fibula, and detaching the tendon between the Fib and Tib. They put the Fib back together with 7 screws and a plate. They also attached the tendon, and put one large screw between the Tib and Fib to give it some extra support.

I should be good to go for fall. I am a little concerned about sheep season and hiking. Hopefully all goes well with the healing process. I am a little bummed about spring bear baiting, spring snow geese, and a spring coastal black bear hunt.

Yeah that off hand shot maybe a little tough for me. Sounds like I maybe on crutches for 3 months. I maybe disqualified before I even shoot.

Thanks again Matt. I maybe down for riding this year, but doesn't mean I cant get that sled of yours tweaked and dialed in for ya. With the bummed leg, it sure would be a heck of a reason to buy a new Can-Am 1000 Commander for setting up baits. LOL. Nothing like having a 550HP 4 wheel drive tractor come plow a path out to ya.

Yeah but Alberta Bears, BC Bears, and Sask Snow geese start in 56 days.
