Kennedy wanted to call the shots and undermining Botch the whole tournament. All that eyerolling and back talking the boss while sitting in the hack...hit the road jack. Bottcher is one of the coolest, level headed skips the game has ever seen. He looks so far ahead its ridiculous. To have your own teammates contradicting every decision you make and rattling your mind frame while you throw the final stones for the whole tournament must be exhausting. Not impressed, alot can be learned from teams like northern Ontario and North West territories supporting each other and playing as a team instead of messing with the guy that calls the shots.

Gushue is just to tough, McEwan curled well but Gushue curled better and in the end it was the cream that rose to the top 9 - 5 in 9 ends, as a team they curled 97% in the final they would not be denied, as Team Canada we get to see him again next year

Yup, the team that understands their role and respects the skip wins the brier. And rightly so. You never see Mark Nichols or ol E.J never, ever talk to Brad like he's an idiot. As much as I was rooting for alberta, the cream does rise to the top. Its a gentleman's game and the right team won.

I couldn’t have said it better. The best team won. And I wish them all the best at World’s.
I have always like Botcher’s demeanour as a skip. Gained more respect after watching him practice at our club one night and getting a chance to chat with him. (Luckily the girlfriend has a curling crush and wanted a pic. 🙃
