Curious what the OPs stake is in this, besides the seemingly obvious. Pretty sophisticated surveillance technology here.

My stake in this is the following;
1) nothing makes my blood boil more than people shooting and leaving a deer there to rot
2) This is the third deer poached off my property this year.
3) I've had 6 gates cut off this year so far, 12 no trespassing signs stolen/removed.
4) This property has a never ending assortment of poachers, trespassers, etc that bend the rules to their liking. I would personally like to see any poacher, trespasser and guy shooting out their window (or side by side in this case) charged as they should be.
My trail cameras are setup so I can enjoy nature as it happens and I can keep a tab on what is going on when I am not there. I wouldn't call having a trail camera on the edge of the timber, a sophisticated security system.
As to an earlier post in this thread, I really hope the guys in the pictures have seen this post. If nothing else, hopefully it makes them stay away. I have pictures of them, their quads, and their deer. I will continue to look for the quads and side by side in the years going forward and charge them when I find them.
Honestly, I hate being "the bad guy" in a situation where people cut my gates, break my things that I've worked hard for, etc.

and Grizz - these pictures were taken with a G42NG Stealth Cam. I ordered them for $159.99 plus shipping/tax. They are great cameras, I currently run about 15 of them, they don't take the best night pictures, but they tell me what is around when I am not.
I highly recommend the camera as they are fairly inexpensive, the new ones last forever on normal alkaline AA's, and take thousands of pictures on one set of batteries. The new G42's that I have seem to work well, but we haven't had a real cold snap to tell me the battery life.

Private Deeded property. I have cattle and horses.
I have Family and close personal friends that hunt on it. I try and have someone on the property every day in November to keep an eye on it.

I would stop trying to justify yourself for the post. People were obviously trespassing and hunting on your gated property, makes me wonder on the people that are questioning your actions. I do not own my own hunting properties or probably ever will but i feel horrible that you have to go through this yearly.....i really hope you catch these guys and the next ones (not gonna stop)!

What's with the condensing remarks questioning the OP? He has given a pretty clear picture, and I wonder why some immediately take another side.
Is it because you have been in similar situations as the perpetrators? Found a need in the past to justify it?
Thanks for the OP for posting it, I hope they are found, and at the very least, be charged with trespassing.

Would it be legal for you to set up a decoy with surveillance or is that baiting?

Sorry, I thought you might be one of those nasty outfitters, ****ed at having his turf invaded. Not many small holders west of Chain Lakes as I recall.

I hope you catch these idiots man I truly do. If and when you do please enforce the law to the up most. I am sure there will be not enough evidence to pin the deer kill on them but make sure you press the trespass issue to the max.

Real sad post. I hope you catch the pinheads.
I was on 532 Sunday the 9th but wasn't paying much attention because I was there showing a friend how I get into K country during bow season when the road is open. There were ATV's everywhere and I almost had one as a hood ornament just past the first camping area because he was driving down the middle of the road at full throttle. With the amount of pressure that area sees it amazes me there are any animals left.
I'll pass on the pics and see if my buddy remembers anything.

Same time next year, I would be there every day.
