The 125's usually go for about $150 - $175.
The reason for this is that they have only one action screw and the rigger is housed in a cast body.
The bolt as well has been known to break at the junction of the two pieces.
That being said, the barrels are still made by Anschutz and can post some incredible groups for an entry level .22!

I grew up shooting a similar 125 same one as did my father when it was purchased new..in the 60's when he was a kid. Great little gun, the action and trigger is far better than any of my american built .22s.
.
the shatty scope has since been replaced with a cheap but better BSA
My good friend has a 310(?) and when we went shooting the other day, even properly cleaned his 64 action still seemed clunky at the end compared to the 125 and the both shot roughly the same groups.
+40 years of shooting and never any problem. I love this gun !!
I'll also try hijack this thread with a question of my own
I just purchaced and recived a 22mag both the previous owner and now myself cannot figure out the model. Any Help
64 action
4 shot clip
anschutz marking (of course)
# 519XXX
He registered it as a 141m savage/anschutz but from all my reading it should have the "Savage <> Anschutz " stamped on it which it does not. It has a similar stock the the 141m but does not have the dark inlay at the frount.
I tore it down and found no other marks..??? ...any help would be good..sorry no pic yet.

The 141 is a .22LR, and your 141M is correct as a 22 mag.

Cil 310
I collect 22 rimfires and have a couple of them, they shoot well with the right ammo, they are worth $300 - $400 depending on condition. If they are worth $900 i will give some one a heck of a deal 2 for $900 and I'll pay the shipping.

As for a spare clip, be very careful of what is posted on the internet for a replacement for the 125.
It appears that only an Anshutz clip will fit, not even a CIL clip.
Then there are the postings that some Savage clips will fit.
If any of you guys know better, please post.
I am still looking for a reasonably priced Anshutz clip for my Dad's 125.
I remember him buying the gun at Wally's Sporting goods in Dawson Creek in 1965 for fifty bucks.

You can make the cheap Savage clip that Brownell's sells work, but my advice is just order the Anschutz clip. They are expensive for a reason. These guys always have them in stock.

CIL Anschutz .22 model 310
I have also inherited a model 310 and while it is excelent shape I was told that at one point the bolt came apart while at a range and would not shoot after that.
I am not sure why it was taken out and how it came apart but upon getting it home I took it out myself and discovered that the firing pin was no longer there! Everything works except that when you pull the trigger you get no bang!
Does anyone know where I could find a replacement?

It should be a standard model 64 firing ppin. Order one froo mthe dealer here in Canada. It should not be hard to fit to the old bolt.

Try targetshootingproducts.com
They sell Anschutz target rifles and may have spare parts for your rifle.

That's a nice looking 22 Walking Buffalo, so nice I think I'll have to find one for myself now without the scope. I have some people that want to learn to shoot and that would be a good starter to teach people with

The are charicterized by the right hand safety on the side of the stock, much like a Remington 700 action has.
the 54 action ( a much higher quality action) has a wing safety much like a mauser
The rifle in the pic is a 125.
BTW, I have seen 54's go for $900, and the occasional 64MS, but NEVER a 310!!
They simply are not worth that much.

I shot a 190 in sporting rifle compotation for years. It did not have a match rifle stock. The stock on the 190 met all the specs for sporting rifle compotation. The 1403 was basically the same as the 190 but it had the match stock. It could not be used in sporting rifle, only match compotation. Both used the 64 action.

It depends on what style of match stock you are talking about the 100 used a standard rifle stock which is indeed a match stock
The 180 had s completely different stock .
It is the wright that matters for SFC sporting rifle competition , not so much the stock design except for maybe being none adjustable , which is what the standard rifle is made for as well. I am not sure when you started shooting the 190's but I have shot them since before they
were available to the publican the early 60's

I did most of my shooting in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's. If I remember right the match stocks depth was one thing that kept match stocks out of sporting rifle competition as well as weight. The 180 was used by a lot of cadets for target shooting.

There were many stocks that met the match riflle category and you are partially correct, some of themm did not make the dimensions for sporting rifle, but some also did.
That is why the 190 was fitted with a rail, so it could be slung up for match rifle competition, but still be used in sporting rifle competition.
The 64 action was fitted with a heavier barrel in that stock originally that would not make weight for sporting rifle , it was made for match competition.
All that was needed to do was put the lighter barrel on it to make weight.

My 190 had the same stock as the 64MS but had the lighter barrel. It had the rail as well. I used a 54 MS for silhouttes. I should have never sold it but detached retena sort of ended a lot of shooting. The only Anshutz I have left is a 520. I enjoy your knowledge of the Anshutz family Cat. I remember you posting some of your pictures of a few of the strange ones you have in one of our conversations here a year or so ago.

C.I.L. had some pretty cool guns back then, and even today they are quite a bit cheaper than the Anschutz branded guns, lucky for us that like them!!
My first one had a different grip than the later ones, the grip sloped quite a bit as opposed to almost straight down like the later ones.
I just wish they had gone with the light sporter stock with the 54 action , that would have been a real zinger!!

I inherited a model 310 from my dad. I dont know what the value of the gun is but i know i wont be selling mine. It is an amazingly smooth operating and tight shooting gun that i feel is equivalent or superior to the higher quality 22 rifles today. I use marksman guns and sports in lethbridge as my anschutz magazine guys. Awesome rifles. Happy shooting.
