This deer is NOT a world record B & C. Because there is no fair chase as it was a fed and "Farm" deer it will be scored SCI. I think anybody who would even think of trying to say they hunted this deer should be shunned from the hunting community... Next we are gonna have people wanting a trophy class for Dogs and start shooting them.. RIDICULOUS!!!

I would never hang that ugly thing on my wall.

That's ugly. The deer itself doesn't look much bigger than a dog, or maybe the rack just makes it head look really small.

Green score of 550 after 60 days it scores 610 thats easy to figure out, the 550 is Canadian after you add the us exhange rate comes to 610 and no way should it be a world record.

I would like to maybe read a story in a magazine one day down the road on this guy and his deer. It would be interesting to see how he portrays himeslf, IE does he think this is actually a hunting accomplishment??

i suspect he is quite proud of it. if SCI would stop catering to, encouraging and glorifying the killing of pets, things like this would slow down. it still wouldnt stop it completely, as it still is up to states and provinces to put an end to pet shooting once and for all. this guy will call himself a hunter.......but he is no peer to the guys that actually do hunt.

It will only be a world record in the category it belongs in....estate hunts. Not like it will be a B&C world record or anything. SCI offers a seperate category for game shot behind a fence....it's all in context.

LOL, at least he got out!

It would be a darn shame to find out he actually shot it off the road, from the truck!

LOL

I've been saying that for years now, now that you can buy pre-seeded (both herds and crops) property down in the USA.

A picture of the new world record whitetail buck. It was taken by the cousin of a co-worker's sister's uncle's best friend's son-in-law's niece's hairdresser's neighbor's ex-boyfriend's oldest nephew. Reportedly it will score 2603-1/8 by B&C standard and was shot on a really windy day, 85 degrees downhill, around a curve at 900 yards with a .22 cal. rifle.

Supposedly, this deer had killed a Brahma bull, two Land Rovers, and six Jehovah's Witnesses in the last two weeks alone. They said it was winning a fight with Bigfoot when it was shot. It has also been confirmed that the buck had been seen drinking discharge water from a nuclear power plant.

All this has been checked and confirmed by my friends at Snopes.
