Today I took my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids fishing North of
Edmonton. When we left the city it was pouring, but we got about 4 hours of good perch fishing in before the rain caught up with us. The kids had a great time helping real in perch and throwing back the small ones. I was busy guiding and baiting (not so much fishing) but everybody had a great time!

Super Mario ... that I would give you a laugh for the day ... I will send you a $100.00 Tim Horton's Gift Card ... in exchange for the lake and what on ... are you laughing yet ... or do you want to text me your address so I can mail you the gift card? Just so there's no confusion, I send you the card first and then you share the info with me! The only person I will ever tell (if successful) is my wife ,,, since that's who I fish with! 403 358 9999 Doyle or Deborah Hansen

actualy it does kind of look like island lake. More specifically dead mans bay. They look like they are set up at the point of a 20 foot hidden hole on the shoreline. Which is a well known local perch hotspot.

Default Perch elude me

I have caught the odd perch and really like them. I have tried and to target them but fail miserably. It seems that I always seem to catch the jacks and pickerel. I have been told small hooks, small hooks with bacon, any jig head with bacon, nada. I jig for them with line over my finger because I'm told they don't hit hard. Just off the bottom. A foot off the bottom in weeds not in weeds nada. Lol
Would you mind telling me how to fish for them? I know that I'm missing something.
Please don't laugh at me to hard for asking.

Thank you in advance.
