Guys in last 10 years we went from 200,000 hunter applications for draws, we are now approaching 440,000 last year, any wonder why system crashed on last few unsubscribed draws.

I sent an email to ABRelm and got an automated reply saying a ticket has been created and a rep will respond within 24 hours. If everyone who is a bit upset by this morning's let down does the same, then they will be a bit busy for a while, bit like us busy trying to do the lawful thing and apply through the only channels.

got it right before it crashed

i had to re-click to not add group members about a hundred times then it just added to cart and boom went back after and there was like nothing left

This is completely ridiculous! They have had problems in the past and yet here we are again with the same issues. I am curious as to how some people seem to be getting on the site to see numbers of elk and moose already gone. I've been unable to accesss anything on the site. Time for some letters to the minister in charge!

I managed to get so far as select the species, wmu and when I went to add to cart I kept getting a validation error. It looked like stuff was still available when I last got in about 25 minutes ago but I was not successful in getting anything added to my cart. I am so enraged right now.

I get the whole increase in the number of hunters, but guess what, you upgrade your systems to handle that. And if there were that many more hunters we wouldn't have any undersubscribed tags so that argument doesn't hold a lot of water.

Its pretty simple. Knowing a little bit about web servers if Relm had a dedicated server with capacity to meet their peak demand (ie today) this wouldn't be an issue. Instead, we get the smelly end of the stick.

I have never complained once on this forum but this has me seeing red.

What happened last year didn't make sense to me, as in it didn't make sense that that many tags sold in a couple of hours when it had never happened before. In fact it had never even came close to happening.

What is happening now confirms my suspicions.

This year real hunters are applying and the system can't handle it.
That tells me that last year it wasn't just hunters who bought up all the tags.

If it had been, the system would have crashed then as it has this morning.

A very valid point.. In my case I screwed up my application for what I thought would be a sure thing draw a few hundred kms closer to home so was hoping to get a chance here but way she goes
