A lawyer friend figures Trudeau will have to resign, I figure Butts is the fall guy...but I don't see how the RCMP can't do a criminal investigation of obstruction of justice. And then it will get real.
I have to say watching her interview, she maybe the most honest politician in Canada....

Well he's throwing a press conference in 45 minutes so we'll see what he has to say.

I heard an interview on the radio last week with a Quebec journalist who explained that Quebecers don’t get the outrage Canada has over SNC. They see it as a good Quebec company that provides jobs to Quebecers. Given how big business operates in that province, the public has a large tolerance for bull crap from its corporations as long as it benefits Quebec.

Might have to make a donation to the Bloc Québécois next Quebec election, we need to get rid of that tumour.

Default Bad, very bad

This looks pretty damning but the lasting effects are still to be seen.

Honestly, if the Turd does survive...I will vote for him. Obviously he's some sort of alien life form and it's best to make friends with him before he eats us.

I'll offer to help him pack if he leaves tomorrow.

I'm always a bit stunned how Quebec views their privilege in Confederation, as displayed in their attitudes towards SNC and bombardier and bailouts....even ON feelings about the GM plant closure in Oshawa...but a hundred thousand jobs and billions of investment capital lost in Alberta doesn't matter at all. Appalling lack of concern for not just another province, but an economic cornerstone of the country.

Insanity.

Pierre must be rolling over in his grave at how incompetent his son is. It's the Margaret genes.

I wonder what her future holds for her? I would like to see her cross the floor as I believe she is a standup kind of person.

Her obvious integrity and principles will preclude her from doing that I am sure. She clearly said she was elected as a liberal to the press...that is the clue.

Funny , I just sent off a text to a friend suggesting that it would take a story of massive size to take the spotlight of of JT .

And suggested that maybe something likes Aliens landing in Toronto and eating people ...just might be a big enough story ...

Just did a quick google search on whom are the major shareholders of SNC Lavalin... very intresting

Just when you thought this is deep you find the abyss...

When banks, big corporations and corrupt politicians collide

Wonder why she never said anything when this all happened? Yeah I know about the client privilege, but if she had indicated there was a problem, then she could have got it waived as she did here.

Now if only all politicians were like her. It’s good to see a politician that cannot be corrupted.

I applaud her for taking a stance and not backing down.

During the shear interview, a French reporter asked why treaudea was trying to do was so wrong.

Unbelievable.. just unbelievable how quebecers feel they fit into Canada.

That is something to consider. You know what the say about a woman scorned.

I have to wonder where the new AG fits in all this.

I would bet she played it like a walleye, sometimes its better to let him hook himself, rather than set the hook. It seems she really let the PM, PMO, AG etc. get in too deep to wiggle out.

Morneau’s office just denied intervening in the SVC deal. I bet she has notes and emails contradicting their denial. I’d like to see him booted as well.

Justin just went all in.

He said he and his colleagues, disagree with everything she said.

He did this at a photo shoot in Quebec.

Let the games begin.

Nothing will happen

Canadian apathy will kick in

The RCMP will do nothing

People will watch all the media and lap it up then puke up another Trudeau victory in the next election.

Tough spot for her as she knew it would be the end of her political career in her dream position. A liberal with integrity. Seems like an oxymoron.
