don't you worry, we get them wet OFTEN. two of his patterns out fished anything else we threw this morning again. he'll be tying more of those two bugs for sure. i don't mind spending a few dollars here and there to keep him busy with his hobby. he started off tying with pillow feathers, q-tip ends, mom's yarn and a #8 snell. i feel i owe it to him now. he's creative and enjoys tying. his patterns catch and we both enjoy fishing them so it's a big win, win for us both.

Great looking flies, great choice of colors. A few of those would be perfect for a few brown trout streams i know of.

I've just got into tying myself. It requires much more patience then I first thought. Those all look like very good ties to me. Great attention to detail!

i'm sure you can lynx. i agree he's gifted and has a lot of years behind the vise ahead of him.
