On a side note.. anyone have thoughts if this is the same guy? The smaller shed was found 3 years ago, about 2 miles of the bigger ones.

I'd say yep, long main beam, that little paddle could be damage during growth
G3 has nice little wonk to it...
Young deer with some good genes

The big ones this year are thick.. like almost coke can thick. and weigh about 3 lbs each.

Not really. Still same deer. There is no scale for the picture some what hard to tell. Great sheds for sure
Edit:sorry missed the 3 years apart thing

I'm not sure which years they would be.. There is a chance they aren't from the same deer.. But my personal feel is that they are. My dad found the smaller shed not me. Knowing him, it may have been 2 years ago.. Not three. But forsure not last year's. As I have seen it sitting in his garage for atleast a few years.

Show off!
On a serious note, I think it's the same deer. Also, there is no way the larger antler is from a 3.5 year old deer, imo. There is an easy two years difference, at least, between the two.
Great sheds, by the way. I am going out for walk tomorrow, maybe.

Imagine how many you dont find, those fracking wolves eat most of the bones and there is not much left to even attract ravens. One skiff of snow and you would even barely know they were there.

My guess is you have his 2 1/2 and now 5 1/2 yr antlers there. The pic of the deer helps out with guessing his age

I would agree with 2.5-5.5
Was out today, little dissapointing. Trailed a massive amount of tracks but no sheds. Also my cams look to have frozen up on me only a single pictures but of a really nice buck

Not here yet
I wish they were dropping here. Got cams up and nothing has dropped out of 60-70 bucks I have pics of. I take it means they are in great shape. Lots of feed around and not much snow.

South and west of Calgary.
There was a bachelor group of 9-10 that have been hanging out in the same general vicinity since about mid December. When it was cold I would see them alot. Since it warmed up their patterns have changed and I rarely see them together. Of the 8-9 I have photos of, I belive only 3 have antlers still. Of which they are smaller spiker or 3*3 guys.
If I had to guess, by the way these antlers were melted into the snow, they dropped sometime before the weather got real nice a week or so ago.

Was out last evening as the sun was setting. Saw a ridicoulous amount of deer and atleast a dozen bucks. All still carrying both sides , even the big boys.
After one in particular as i would guess his inside spread is upwards of 24"

So i am hoping that he has dropped or will drop in the same area.
