I was just curious all why they went up. Yellowstone comments make sense now. Ill admit ive been looking for a nice 3030 lever as well with a good set of irons.

. Some old savage 22s sell for the same old prices. Ive usually sell something used 30% less that it cost me new as im not out to hose anyone. But some old lever guns that were bought in the 90s selling for new prices that need a little tlc. For 4 times as much as when once was new is ridiculous. And thats fine, they can leep them. Wasnt a matter of being able to afford them or not . Ive bought 4 guns brand new in 2 months and two old ones from a friend that had sentimetal value to me.

It seems guns are a better investment than silver or gold…. Plus with a bit of an adventurous spirit you can get hold of some silver and gold with your guns 😈

Of course I’m kidding, don’t try this at home folks .

As prices go up, people wanting to buy are upset...

As Prices go down, people who just bought are upset...

As prices go down, people who want to sell are upset...

When it comes to things that are not necessary to living or dying, there is no fair or unfair. There is only people who are willing to pay a price to get what they want, plain and simple. If you want it and are willing to pay that price it is a fair price.

Free market is the fairest form of trade. You don't want to pay the price, then don't buy it. if everyone agrees and stops buying the prices will drop. If everyone is rushing out to buy the same thing, prices will climb. Either deal with it or don't, but being shocked and hurt is funny to me.

Well 35 years ago I could buy a 30/30 lever for say a weeks wages . I can't do that now.
I understand about inflation and demand etc. Just saying wages for normal people are not keeping up. Its not just guns. Its everything. Cows, land, groceries, etc

I really want to buy a rifle that is “capable” of generating 9,999 joules.
