Just bought some 270 and 30-06 at Westbrook Walmart for $15/box. Also bought a few boxes of 12 gauge target loads for $3\box.

Ended up running in to lethbridge to check it out, and sure enough, they have ammo. 10 boxes 180gr 308 at 15 per. Cheeeaaapp. Also got 10 boxes of remington steel shot 3" for 10$ per. Also cheap. Doesnt happen often that a guy can get a good deal

Went to Calgary Northland location today. Picked up a couple boxes of 7mmRm for $20/box. Lots of 30-06, 308, 270 there for $15. Other calibers too.

West Edmonton Stony Plain Road Walmart cleaned out of 30.06.
SORRY!!! it was me! $15.00 a box, even for just practice rounds, I cannot load for that!
There was 300 Win Mag left, and lots of .303.
Also, took all the 12 Gauge 3 in mag Challenger in #1 & #3 at $10 a box, but they had a lot of BBB left which I am not interested in if anyone is interested.

Also interested to know what's available in GP Walmart and prices. If anyone is going, I would appreciate the info. I am out of province till next Thursday and I will be flying in to GP and wonder if anything will still be on the shelves. Had a cousin check out the store in Peace River and they did not have anything I am interested in; they had some 180 gr of the calibers I would buy, but I am more interested in 140-150 range. Asked him to pick up some shells at $10/box, but not sure if he went there again

At the rate the ammo is clearing out I would be asking for someone to pickup as much of what you are interested in as they can find. If it isn't someone you know well send them an EMT for the costs. By the time you get back unlikely there will be much common stuff on the shelf.

Both Red Deer Walmarts picked pretty clean of what was on sale, lots left that isn't on sale (22lr & random calibers)

Nothing on sale, no 7-08. There were no signs up of anything on sale, so I grabbed a lady with a scanner and scanned 6-8 barcodes - they are all regular price.

Thanks for the info, indeed. I wanted to use Dean’s suggestion and ask a kind member to volunteer (if anyone would) and grab me a few boxes if anything was available. No need, I guess.
On a side note, my cousin bought me 5 boxes of shells I don’t particularly use, instead of what I actually asked. Good thing I asked for 5 boxes and not 10
