Being somewhat portly, always looking out for them, my friends kids and their friends, having just watched the movie gave me the name. I would do the same things and probably more then what John Candy did in the movie!!!!

I know...many of you are wondering...where did my name come from. It is actually a lot more complicated than many would think.

It all started in a small hospital in Northern Alberta. It was a warm and humid day when I first poked my head out into the world. Everyone was amazed as I gazed up into the window with the wind blowing the curtains and creating such an awesome shadow effect...and then and there I spoke my first words. Sun Dancing Like Fish. People gasped with amazement!

Ever since then my nick name has been Sundancefisher.

Go figure.

Anything else you heard or guessed is just a lie.

m-tyler-b
m is for my first name: Murray - my dad goes by that name, so I've always gone by my middle name
tyler is my middle name
b is for my last name: Beckett - and you still won't find me in any phone book.

I've been using that username for years and found it's usually still available.

Fishing was the first sport that I took up, when I was barely able to walk. I do remember being in my white sandbox and my older brother came and dumped a brown bag full of red and white bobbers into my sand box to play with. He said they were for fishing.

I played and broke most of those bobbers trying to figure out how a fish could bite that tiny brass hook, if it is spring loaded into the top and bottom of the bobber. (Used to clasp the line). I think that began my obsession!

Into my elementary and junior high school years, I was known for always having fishing magazines in my backpack, desk, locker... everywhere! In grade 1, I put a spool of monofilament line in my desk, and somehow a length of it wrapped around another students leg. Next thing you know, half of the class is tangled in my WEB!

As for the "guy":

When I joined up with the forum, I was also looking at getting some other friends on board. Part of my scheme to get them to sign up, was that they needed to be a part of the "guy" posse! So far it's: Mooseguy, Twotwelveguy, Thatguy, Slurpeeguy, and yours truly - The Fisherman Guy.

As for my Indian name: Currently taking suggestions.

What I am waiting on a explanation on is: Alacringa

Rack may apply to many things to many different people. For example you may refer to a slim built man as a rack, a place to hang your coat or hat, and quite honestly I enjoy ordering a rack of ribs from Montana's on occasion. No its not a reference to the Rack of a Deer, Elk, Moose or the like although that would have significant meaning as I am quite fond of those. I call myself Rack for the absolute true definition of my soul, the loves of my life, the reason's I live, my family.

Default Mwd 800

First of all MWD. MWD stands for Measurement While Drilling. It's my job on the rigs. 800 is because I have a Polaris 800. I joined a ATV forum before this one so I stuck with it to keep it simple. Not a great name but it is what it is.

Default My name

I have always loved animals and have always had two of everything....

2 dogs (well 3 now)
2 cats
2 bunnies
2 kids
2 hermit crabs (looking for a new home)
2 husbands (not at the same time and the second is a keeper)

One day a friend said "you're not freakin Noah, you don't need two of everything" and now the Noah reference has kinda stuck.

Like BigBadJohn I'm a big guy so have always been called BigDaddy but how original is that? Plus someone else had it already, if I remember (I have fishbrains too).

Castincowboy is cause I love to fish and I'm a red neck.

I don't have a native name but Pouchinator's is "Tiny Pipe".
He also has a spanish name "Johnny Juan-Ball" or "The Uni-Baller".

I was a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan when i was a kid (Jessica Simpson did a fantastic job of rekindling my Daisy Duke fantasies). Good Ol' Boy is from the DOH theme song. It is also a term that hints at being a bit of a redneck, i don't mind admitting that my neck is redder than some. Really it sums me up, i like the simpler things in life like good friends, healthy family, the outdoors, shootin stuff, and fishin.

I think your Indian name should be "Strikes with a rod" or "walks softly with a 6x".

Short for "Gorram Reavers" an obscure sci-fi reference. Think "firefly".

My modern definition of a "reaver" is any one/group that is "progressive"

Indian name.... what else... "hey, pilot"

Cheers, G.
