Does the fish have to be caught in Alberta? or is it safe to just be caught by an Albertan on any water body?

How about Perch? I know we didn't originally talk about that. Anyway, this was my biggest perch caught in Alberta, 1 lb 2 oz, not as long as I thought when I got it home put here is a couple pics. Caught today at about 10:00 am. Almost 13"!

Well that's awfully rude, what you can't catch big perch in the summer and you're scared of losing?

Sorry new to the forum. Was hoping these fish will qualify. Big pike was taped at 44 inches and taken on the fly. Both fish were released successfully. smaller one was the average size for the day. Estimated weight was prob 25 lbs (very thick fish). Whether it stands or not like the idea.

Cheers!
