Try having it happen 3 times...... and in the playoffs no less!
Close race in the standings. That loss was the difference between 2nd in the Pacific and outside of the playoffs...crazy.

Honestly, I am looking at this whole thing as a learning situation. A positive actually.
Fact is this. They just beat the 2nd best team in the NHL for 58 Minutes. One simple mistake cost them a win then they mentally let down and immediately lost the tie.
They will learn from this. They have just been shown 2 things. How to lose a game and how to win a game.
This team can compete with the best in the league, keep climbing that mountain.

Wow, not 40 seconds in and we are killing a long 5 on 3 on that stupid delay of game penalty because hamonic takes swipe at puck and it chips over glass...I hate that damn penalty!!

I was at the Vegas game Tues, Gaudreau was shockingly absent. He never engaged in even one puck battle, never looked dialed in at all, and Mony seemed to follow. Ferland skated like the wind, & had 4-5 major league bone-crushing hits. Top line looked very poor over all.
Backlund & Frolik were quiet, Chuckie makes something happen every shift. I haven't checked his +- but he was very responsible defensively also.
4th line just wasn't creating, Hathaway needs to sit for Lomberg, or go back down.
Power-play was 0 for 3, 1 for 19 last 5 games.
They need to pick it up for sure, not sure they have what it takes.

The games are shaping up tonight...the Hateful Ducks lose to Sens but did pick up point in OT....Kings getting positively spanked 4-0 at the moment by Preds...and the Oilers are greasing along losing 2-1 to Av at the moment. Hawks and Canucks don't matter and they know it so apparently nobody has decided to score yet...
