Excellent tip. Nina picked up 3 packages yesterday, total of 6 steaks. Nice evenly cut, a little over an inch thick, bone in, just beautiful looking steaks. We are going to BBQ on tomorrow while it is still fresh. Steaks are big enough, one will feed both of us easily, so we vac packed the rest as singles and froze them.

That exactly what we did yesterday brought 3 packs works out to be 13-15 a steak. And it thick and juicy. Took one out for a taste test and it passed looking to go and pick up a few more packs and individual sealed them for the summer , don’t think the next sale will be 8.99 ( the last sale we had it was 6.99 for prime rib roast a few months back )

I have the Hanwag Alaska GTX and Lowa Hunter GTX Evo and they are both amazing. Particularly the Hanwag which are the most comfortable boots I've ever had on my feet. Says on the package the steel is 420HC. Looks larger than those Kingsman (was that the name?) folders, but needs to hands to operate (as apparent from the “nail-puller”).

That's the winner then. Think the Safeway/sobeys was only AA. Went to grab one and the best before date was today. Needless to say think I may be finding my way to superstore.

I stopped at Safeway first. Best before was June 27 and they were AA. Grabbed one. Then went to Superstore and saw the deal there. Grabbed 2 more.
