According to B&C on a Mulie if it has brows you count them as a point, are they not called G1's

Hey sheep guide, why did they take down your bizzare display of childishness? I thought mine was at least twice as insulting, now I'm a little insulted that it didnt get taken down and yours did.

Nice to see this thread getting back on track. I'm aware of the two whitetails in the pictures, and yes, they both net score over 150. I believe the grainy photo is a deer that nets 153+, the other in the clear picture nets 152. Heres a couple more that go over 150 net. The first one is an Illinois buck that grosses 154 and nets 152 1/8. The second buck is now considered the worlds largest 3x3 whitetail at 158 gross and 155 net. It is from Wisconsin, taken by archery, and is the largest recorded 6 point whitetail in all record books across the US and Canada. I still think theres one out there thats bigger.

This is the Illinois buck at 152 1/8 net and 154 6/8 gross

Heres a couple pics of the Wisconsin buck at 158 2/8 gross, 155 4/8 net.

Pretty cool PB. Thanks for starting the thread and sharing the pictures. Before this thread it would have been hard for me to even imagine a 150 class 3x3.

Geeze guys some nice 3x3's in there..

Sheephunter & Plummbutt those are some dandy deer I would careless what those actually scored a fellow would take them just because they are what they are,, very impressive for their point count..

Sheepguide;
There is a right way and a wrong way to score a Whitetail I am sorry but you are on the wrong track with your comments. If you come across people that would score as you do please in the future correct them and if you wouldn't mind sir please correct yourself.

I believe Boone & Crocket is pretty clear on the subject,, if you are the guide that you claim to be you should be clear on this.. This is not the same as us in Canada (Alberta, Sask & Man.) calling them a 4 X 4 or the yanks calling them an 8 point,, your logic my friend is wrong sorry but that's just the way it is there is nothing to argue about..

If you wouldnt mind looking back on all my posts I never once said the right or wrong way to "SCORE" a deer. All I stated is that not everyone calls a deer with 2 points plus brows a three point. You guys can laugh all you wish. It seems to really bug alot of you and I dont understand why.You were taught your way and I was taught mine. The only point that I was argueing is that none of us are wrong. So if I offended them deer by not calling them wat you guys wish then I am sorry. But will continue, as you will to call them what I do.

This is what I think. How many tines does the deer have? if it has a g2 g3, main beam and a brow tine and the same on the other side its a 4 X 4, to me its the only way that makes sense. They score the brow tine right? then there you go

Because if it really bugged me i would fade off and not post. But since you guys like to keep going and bring me in. What the hay, im getting paid big dollars to sit on here why not waist some of the day with you pack of dogs. Takes a few to jump in b4 the rest of the puppets will follow. To all you guys I tip my hat as you make my paychecks all that more enjoyable.

quick question for all you out there that are holier than thou....if a mule deer has 4 points plus brows how many points do you count? is it the same as whitetails or is there a sub clause that has to be followed?
