Default Man of the people FOR SURE !

Only political leader I know of that gave back surplus TAX dollars - MY family cashed (5) $400 rebate cheques to the tune of $2K .....

Giving back surplus TAXES was and still is unprecedented !

TBD

RIP Ralph !

I met him at an auction once in the middle of our prairies.
And a few other occasions along the way.
Just a common man.
Damn shame he had to go the way he did.
So long King Ralph. You made me care about my province more than you will ever know. I am proud to fly the flag any day.

He called it like he saw it but was very popular despite not sugar coating things. But a cree speaker he was not lol, although on two occassions he did try it with me, maybe he improved over time lol, the effort was there.

My condolences to the family. I met Ralph on many occasions and was always a fan of his honesty and forthright wit. A man who stood apart and within.

Among many great things he did, S-S-S and giving surplus tax dollars to the people really stand out to me. He said it like it was and didn't sugarcoat things, and he recognized those who made his vision for Alberta come reality.

RIP King Ralph

Read the 20 page special in the sun today. What an underdog story his was. He was even amazed he won an election. He had quite the career and left many stories behind. Probably the last politician to stick to guns whether right or wrong. The last of a dying breed as far as politics go.

Condolences to friends and family, but his legacy will be talked about for many years. Especially for calling the homeless a bunch of bums and to get a job lol, we need more like him.

Ralph did love fishing, in fact he partially owned a lodge in the Prince Rupert area. In fact he did such a good job of it, we modelled Great Pacific Salmon Lodge after it.

He is a legend in Rupert and like was said earlier on in the thread, he made me proud to call Alberta home.

And yes we wil have another leader who does what he/she says.
Just need someone with enough balls to actually do it.

Jamie

I remember the RD article done how he wanted to leave an Alberta that not even liberals could screw it up....

He definitely did more than his part and he definitely was a one of a kind.

He was a great man. Yet still very down to earth.

My condolences to the family. he was taken way too soon.

A great man will be dearly missed by many for years and years....thank you King Ralph for all you have done for the Alberta people and economy. The rebate you gave was used on an Aqua Vu, so every time I use that camera, it reminds me of you good sir.

RIP Ralph. You are and will be missed.

So sad to see what you built has been destroyed by some that even worked with you. You, Ralph, always told your troops to "get out from under the Dome" (the Leg). You, Ralph, told your MLA's AND Cabinet Ministers to connect and stay connected to the severely normal Albertan.

That has been forgotten by the current crew. They only carry the same name as the party you built. They don't know how to run this Alberta, our Alberta, the Alberta that has so many resources.

RIP Ralph. We miss you, and have missed you and will miss you.

During the "vacation Alberta" scam where the developers and enviros planned together to make most of Sw Alberta a giant park, Ralph and Ty over turned the NRCB decision. Ralph said he was listening to the "silent majority" , and he was right. Thanks again Ralph for your public service...
