It is a .257 Roberts Featherweight, given to her as a gift by a family friend. What a sweet, good friend hey?

Roebag
Great to see your kids in every picture. An investment in the future of hunting.
I have a son and daughter who I took out when they were tikes and they continue to hunt with me. I keep telling them when I am old and grey they will have to take me out and prop me up on a deer stand so I can continue to hunt.
Dick this has been a great thread you started and shows a lot of posative vibes to the board and the members who are lucky enough to be able to share the outdoors and hunting with family.

Oil Burner ??
[QUOTE=Reeves;144773]Rugersingle....that Chevy in your avatar sure is burning a lot of oil !
Aaahhhh..I see you have made a very common mis-diagnosis of the event.
The vehicle in question suffers from Lackus of Traction, complicated by a bad case of High Horsepowerous. Quite common for cars of this vintage and genre. There is no know cure but treatment normally includes the infusion of gallons of high test gasoline, occasional shots of octane booster and regular excersise, usually during the summer months. Every now and then they still need to "cut loose", just to make sure everything still works ya know...
Like my rifles, I use em, not polish em

Klods 50"+ kudu

Plus, I got all these kills on hi def camera, she done real good, in fact awesome.
