$150 sounds good to me, let's start it there and run until Noon Saturday.
Colin will pay shipping as well, if the buyer allows that.

Colin455 told me to drop the start price to $75, and to go until Sunday 8:00 pm.

Over 3000 views in 2 days. Awesome!
If that is 2000 separate people, that gave $5.00 each we would set a new record for most / quickest funds raised.
Are people waiting for more and better stuff to be donated? I can try if I have an idea what people are looking for.
If someone is shy and does not want their name mentioned, Mr. anonymous works very well.
If someone thinks that a small donation won't help, and are shy about giving $5 or $10, please do not think that way. If only 10% of the 3000 views paid $10 each we would have $3000 on the way to Jess.
Pm me if you wish to give but want to remain nameless.
If you can walk around your work with a hat or posters, every dollar helps.
Everything helps, and I am eternally grateful for the contributions.

I have deleted the first items I put up that had zero interest. They are no longer up for auction. I will try and round up other items and try to keep this going.
Thank you everyone who has contributed.
If you have items you want to donate, please pm me with the details

The next item, from Red bullets;
" I would donate an antique knife from the 1940's. Made by Reino Kankaanpää a great knifemaker from Kauhav, Finland. It has the original sheath and is in good condition. I have seen similar knives made by this man selling for anywhere from 75 to 250. I would guess this one to reasonably be worth 75 dollars, maybe to 100."
So there you are knife collectors; a knife worth between $75 and who know how much?
Let's start at $50 and go until Sunday 8:00 PM.
Thank you kindly Sir!

An update to the antique knife I am donating to the auction.
This knife would have been made prior to 1940. Looking online I found that Reino Kankaanpaa died in 1940.

There are 2 drop off points, ATB and PVFS but no trust account. They are a bugger to set up. You can call Sharon at ATB to confirm our intentions if you like, 780-745-2626. Pease mention Ken and this thread if you go that route so she knows how you heard about it.
You can make out a ch or mo payable to Jess or Paul and mail it to me, I will get it to them if that works.
