Great job all the way around on this. Huge effort setting, really well done on the story and the video. Success at the end with the double was well deserved. Thanks for taking the time to pull all of this together and sharing it out.

Once a again thanks for the kind words. When you spend a ton of time in the bush your bound to get lucky at least once. CLM they were on a baitsicle. Still got my eye open for some roadkill though. sjemac I’m not sure if the alpha is always the biggest one. There was another real big one in there but from everything I’ve seen on documentaries the alpha eats first…. Walking Buffalo I love the ravens & use them as indicators in many ways like you do. I’ve seen them dive bomb wolves before but nothing out of the ordinary on this one. Mb-MBR I’m using a Sony HVR Z5U. Actually have 2 of them just in case one lets go like what happened last may on the BC bear hunt. Water damage. It’s fixed now though. All the big guys were selling their Z5’s to go with the new Sony HXR-NX5U so I bought a used one off one of them. Rockjockey those wolves looked like little dots on the river way out there. I noticed they were moving so by the time I got organized they were within 100yds. I could tell they weren’t going anywhere by their body language so there was lots of time. They all looked alike & from 300yds it was hard to tell what size they were even through the scope. Two Fifty the bullet went right through that one as well… it’s in the ice there somewhere. imatreestander your a funny dude… lol. What an adventure this one’s been. Glad you guys enjoyed it & hope others will be encouraged to poste up more pics of their hunts.

Nice thread and video, Thanks so much for sharing. I think Wolftracker might have to move to include Alberta next year if we can find more hunters like you.

Definitely a fantastic video and a well-deserved outcome from all the effort you put into that hunt. Kudo's

Default pop cans ride

Hi Pop can your quad is an amazing looking machine, I'm curious cost wise what does it cost to put tracks on a quad and as an application why would you not just go to a sled.. Your Video is terrific and the guy's all said it, amazing to see. Thanks for the post. I'd love to try that here in the mountains we have too many wolves and I have never know how to even try to hunt them until I read your post , so thanks for sharing we should all try and get 1 in the mountains of the southwest after your video I'm game..

That is some awesome stuff, good work and thanks for posting that video 👍
I didn't think wolves would get that jittery hearing an airplane considering they must hear it everyday...now I know better.

I hope one day I get to do that
