It was not Dri who took the penalty.

Sucks to lose that game but the better team will prevail. That is the boys in blue.
Next game, more of those shots will be hitting the twine. 5-1 in game 4, OILERS BABY!!

I am referring to the stupid unnecessary slashing penalty he took which led to the Kings tying up the game 18 secs into the power play. No way to predict how the remainder of the games will play out but that is the reason the game was tied up in the first place.

^ Gotcha. The one Nuge took was pretty dumb too though. And that lost the game.

We need to be mature he said is his post game interview in gm1, bad penalty in game 2 and 3 now from Dri. Better start putting his actions where his mouth is. Why did Nurse have his back to the threat and was puck watching. I also agree with Freedman. We haven’t been able to play with the lead. Either sloppy plays at the blue line leading to 2 on 0 or bad penalties. This learning thing isn’t all that appealing right now!!

There’s one simple way the Oilers can win these games handily - HIT THE F@$?!$@ NET!!!!!

Against teams like LA where scoring chances are at a premium, you can’t miss the net 8 outta 10 times, and hit the goalie in the crest the other 2 times. They have to go in the net or at the very least force the goalie to make a save and get a rebound.

To a man, F and D, they MUST be better at hitting the net and capitalizing on their scoring chances. It’s the difference in the series right now.

That slashing penalty that Draisaitl took is absolutely infuriating. He’s wearing a letter for F’s sake. Sooooo stupid and selfish. Completely changed the momentum and outcome of that game. He simply has to be better.

Prior to the game starting I said LA in overtime....McJesus was flying out there so I questioned my logic but my gut feeling was right.

Pretty quiet in here, I think you need a major trade or two & fire the coach!

Playoffs is a time for playing solid and penalty free hockey. Some say the Drai penalty was a set up to help knock Oilers out in favour of a US team.

However one can’t give a ref a reason to call a stupid penalty… even if the holds and hacks and spears and elbows to McDavid go uncalled.

Oilers need to play harder, tougher and most of all smarter.

Or they will use excuses to whine their way to a reason to lose.

So many great teams came so close ,but the penalties did them in playoffs.

Guys out there just dying to draw penalties

Seems crazy to play well most of the year having one of the best players to ever play and going out on over a couple stupid moves. Some penalties are hard to avoid due to the speed of the game ,but that's when pro players should be able to control it much better .

Hope they win in the next game and keep it going .

Go oilers, this isn't over yet .Win one and it's the best out of 3 easy as that.

Wow didn’t see that coming. LA has speed and a hot goalie tonight. Oilers can score 3 pretty quick too so will see.
