Dear Shamers Ownership,
Reports having a homeless man digging dozens of 25 piece puzzles and a Jenga outta the blue bin behind Feaster's home on Thursday afternoon. Insiders say his frustration reached the rage point due to his inability to figure out how to rebuild.........

Holy hell. Fatty really is Peter Griffon in real life if he believes that.

Fiester had a deal with Boston and when he took it to Iggy he said no, he wanted to go to Pitts instead........much to the disappointment of the GM for Boston and Fiester. Fiester made the deal based on the list of teams that Iggy said that he would be willing to be traded to but then changed his mind about Boston. That's why Fiester said that he'd get the list of teams in writing the next time. There was lots on Sports Net tonight during the Oiler game. My guess is that Iggy's agent must have known about the offer from Pitts and Iggy chose the team that was best for him.

Pens came late to the table and in the end it was the player's call.

Well, it's not like Iggy agreed to the trade to Boston and then Pitts offered and he reneged on what he agreed to. Similar, but not the same.

Exactly.
Feaster makes K-Blow look like a shrewd operator. With the deadline on Wednesday, ownership better buy the outfit that Chris Farely was wearing in his final moments and coke that tool out of his head until then if there is any hope for the franchise.

Bottom line......Fiester didn't do anything out of respect for Iggy. Iggy was calling the shots.

Yes and no.
Iggy didn't pull the trigger. There was always a choice to say no and keep him.
At the end of the day, Feaster yet again looks like an incompetent fool, and the team's greatest player ever gets shipped out for a pair of mutts that probably won't be able to cut it at the AHL level and a first round pick much lower than they usually select terribly at.
Well done, well done.

Good for him ! He can thank himself, his agent and Mats Sundin for that. His agent and himself negotiated a no trade clause, and exercised it to a tee. Out of respect for the Flames, Iggy gave them an option...Rather than leaving like he would have in 16 games, anyway!
I guarantee, Kipper and his " I'm not reporting" statements, had more to tying hands, than Iggy's no trade clause.
Either way, This Pittsburgh fan , is like a kid in a candy store now! Go Pens Go

Oilers won tonight. Points - Oilers 33.....Bluejackets 33.....Flames 30. Now if Calgary could just win a game at home tomorrow after back to back games for the Bluejackets.......

Good thing cause it will be the only way Cowtown sees a cup for a long time....
Course he might not bring it to Calgary, just his hometown...
Bus trip be a bit shorter for the Edmonton folk.
And good on Iggy for calling the shots but I gotta laugh at the hero worship put on him....he gives them a list, cans a deal cause he wants to go somewhere else...
Guess it shoulda been a list of 1...
Guess Feaster needs the NTC guys to sign the list in blood ....
It is real entertaining for Oiler fans to know yes indeed there are franchises run as bad or worse than the Oil....
Guess you could say its fun talking bout it

I hope you're right Dave, i would sure like to see some 4-5 game win streaks put together by the oil. The talent is there, their consistancy is what plague's them.

Your right Feister didnt, as I said this was between ownership and Iggy. As I said earlier post, Edwards gave him the choice. his choice, his team and I know he wants Iggy to retire a flame, not many owners out there like that. I personally dont think it was the right choice but hey.
saw this tweet as well
Joe Haggerty @HackswithHaggs 4h
@adam_thompson12 Feaster had zero control or say in that process. It was all Iginla and Murray Edwards

GM Steve Tambellini announces the Oilers have traded forward prospect Tobias Rieder to the Phoenix Coyotes for fellow forward prospect Kale Kessy. The left-winger Kessy (6-3, 202lbs) scored 43 pts in 60 games in the WHL this season, and is currently in playoffs with Kamloops.

Looks like Tambo is finally noticing the lack of size as a detriment, and taking steps to deal with it long term. Good to see.
