Three minutes in and one shot on goal.

After last year, nice to get that out of the way.

Well, decent effort but didn't come out on top.

Seems six points back, with Montreal having a game in hand, and only 8 games left is practically an insurmountable mountain to climb.

The fat lady just finished singing. Sorry Flamers. I know your pain all too well and it sucks.

Naw I'll continue to cheer for them. Been doing it all my life so why stop now. I tend to be realistic about it. My frustration have been building over the past few years and especially early this season. I still pay attention to the games but rather take the time to do some fishing.

On another note, Ottawa is doing a good job playing spoilers. Not having a training camp really hurt this young team. Now that they've gel as a team they are playing good. If, and that's a big if, they play like this next year, they will be a force.

Great win last night!

As per usual, find a way to keep McDavid off the board, and you're going to beat them.

They have a glimmer of hope yet, they really need to win out and hope the Habs keep stumbling

Well wouldn't you know we win and Habs continue to lose. If they keep tripping over all them games in hand, and Flames can do what they are supposed to against Ottawa coming up. Then 4 games against the Nucks, if they get on a role anything is possible.
Good game last night, need to keep it up.

Well again our season hinges on Montreal. Will be interesting to see what McDavid does, last game held off the score sheet, he usually has a big game when that happens, and Matthews already scored 2 and last time that happened McD put a hatty against us lol. I countered all that by placing a bet on McDavid scoring 2 or more tonight, so that might just screw him up.

Gawd I hope Tre can wrangle up a couple of goal scorers this off season.

Seeing posts on Looch waiving his MNC. Says doesn't want to handcuff Tre by having to protect him. Dude's a class act.

A class act indeed and why not... Exciting as heck to start anew with a brand new franchise in a brand new facility. This and getting all the juicy stories from all the others, from all the other teams.

Default Looch

I think the only way They take Looch and his contract is if the flames add a pick or prospect , to make some sort of deal.

I look forward to your comments on the Flames, I can taste the salt that pours out of them, it's pretty funny I must say. If only we could find a Flames doll, so you could point out where they hurt you.

As rumored from the start, Flames likely only made the deal if Looch was willing to waive his NMC.

Too bad in a way, was hoping he wouldn't so maybe, just maybe, they'd take Backlund. Guess he may have a bit more value with Bennett gone, but I'd still love to see Backlund or Gio playing for a new team next year. I have a suspicious feeling the team that takes to the ice next year is going to be very similar to the current team.

Game day. Calgary has one of the biggest 50/50 draws in the league.
Good luck!

Just a quick FYI

Pixel’s wager is settled. I’m buying the first couple of rounds if you make it down here this summer buddy. Cheers.

Flames look like they are going to be mailing in this game. Maybe the rest of the season. After all, why risk an injury when it won't matter? Right?

Why not play some of your up and comers, if you have any. Give them a look and a taste of NHL hockey. What’s to lose from doing that?

That wouldn’t surprise me in the least, Covid still going to play a part, and we won’t get much in return for the few guys I think we need to move. Johnny I am sure will still be here. Monny meh probably not.

3-0 Jest, they must have been smiling seeing Flames on the schedule. We are good slump busters for them. Snap that losing streak.

Something that I noticed about a month ago. The Flames have a tendency to shoot from anywhere and a lot of them are routine saves. Shots on goal looks good for stats but doesn’t equate to scoring chances. It just makes it look like they are/were in the game.
