Bessie needs to post the Flaming Elmo to express my feelings.

Or I will settle for the T-Shirt.

So for those of us on the outside looking in, what playoff series are you looking forward to most?? There are some good ones in the first round. Colorado V Blues, the all Florida series could be out of control, Boston V Washington. Vegas and Wild should be good.
Myself Colorado and Vegas will be the ones I am keeping an eye on. Kid from my home town that was drafted to Vegas is now on the roster. MacKinnon I want to get a cup. So many good stories in the first round.
What say you.

Vegas/Colorado. It's going to be a rough and tumble series. McKinnon will be a monster, if he can stay healthy. Wahoo playoffs baby!!
>>
Edit~ Of course this series is a distant 2nd to the Oilers/Jets series

My first choice to win is of course the Oilers. But if they don’t do well would love to see Vegas win it. Brayden McNabb is from just down the road from where I grew up. He was picked in the expansion draft coming over from the Kings. It one of the All Stars but a good solid defenseman.

Great games, including the Tampa/Florida. Love the 1st round and with fans!
>>
Is it me or do the players on the Tampa and Florida teams seem huge?

I'm watching the 3rd of the Panthers-Tampa game, wow. Call me a homer if you'd like, but I feel, unless they can really ramp up the intensity of their game, like double it, whoever makes it out of the North is going to get slaughtered.

Lets go Bennett!

That Lightning PP is lethal though, Point, Stamkos, Kucherov, Hedman, and Killhorn.

I say they're in the worst division in the NHL, or course they are going to put up points, and Kucherov and Stamkos missed most of the season. Assuming they stay healthy, let's compare them during the playoffs and see who comes out on top.

North:
-Edmonton and Montreal made it, we're obviously terrible. One team in the top 10, while playing Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, and Vancouver 9 times.

East:
-Pittsburgh, Washington, Boston, Islanders, all legitimate Cup contenders, 3 teams in the top 10;

Central:
-Three teams in the top 8 in the league, reigning Stanley Cup Champ;

West:
-Top two teams in the league, 3 in the top 8.

Unless of course you're suggesting that Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, and Vancouver are powerhouses?

You and me both, I am correct on Tampa, but barley. Knew that series was going to be amazing and so far, it is. Boston, Vegas and Pittsburgh, I would hope grab game 2.

Nice job by Bennet with the blatant charge when the refs were letting mist of the cheap stuff go. In the sin bin for the tieing goal and killed the Panthers momentum. Some cement heads just never change.

Shouldn't say that. The last thing bone dry southern Ab needs is grass fires on the golf course.

Montreal knocked Pittsburgh out of the playoffs last year. You have no clue of who is the best division in hockey without all teams playing against each other. I would assume the north is the weakest division but only because of the Pacific division teams that are part of it.

These crowds in the American games are awesome. Dang near feels like back to normal, it seems. Wonder how much of a factor that will be, for whoever heads South from playing up here with piped in crowd. Will it boost them or throw them off a bit? Won’t be many cheering for them whoever it is.

Just for kicks, thought I'd revisit this with my unique perspective of the facts....

Tampa PP%: 41.2%
PPP for Point, Stamkos, Kucherov, Hedman, and Killhorn: 21

Edmonton PP%: 18.2
PP Points for the entire team: 6

I’m happy with it. Little much but from all reports signing players in Canada will cost you. Decent add on defence but still need a trade or something to improve the core. Coleman will be good one second / third line and can get some special teams in there though.
