Those are some comfy lookin camps.
I would like to post some of our camp, but you guys will definitlely accuse me of drinking too much while setting up camp. This year we must have used 800' of rope for the 14x16 tent, it looked a little "awkward"... a real test of the night vision. BTW we usually empty a few cans for .22 targets, but we don't get serious with the drinks until everyone's back and safe at camp.
Keep the camp pics coming!

Hey Tuc you have a story behind the Grizzly following the quad?
Not really, it was taken at Waiperous at one of our moose hunting camps. I had gone out this particular day. One of the boys shot a moose and dumped the carcass to close to camp and it attracted a young grizz. The boys were just coming back to camp and noticed the grizz at the carcass, they stayed and got a few pics until the bear decided to come out to the trail and see what all the ruckus was about. The6y then moved on.
The bear was in no way threatening.
Nothing too special, this is the typical camp I set up when I head up north for a moose/deer hunt. The tent is an old forestry/wildfire tent I picked up years ago that keeps me dry and sleeps 2 comfortably. I would eventually like to build a slightly smaller wood stove than the one I have now. A friend of mine built a fancy little wood stove using an old (large size) propane bottle and it works fantastic.
Here are a couple of our camps, the first one is from 2004 the first year we did a group hunt it was awesome, a wall tent, and a couple campers with great friends in the outdoors, its hard to beat. we have not missed a year since and I hope we dont for a long long time.
'04 camp
This is from 07 its a bit much really 5 trailers and a wall tent for 7 guys
We bought a 14x16 wall tent last year and eased up on the trailers a bit the new tent with 5 foot walls is a great place to hangout. Pictures are all still on my camera but when I find the cord I will post some of those up as well.

So thought I'd post up some pics of last years camp with our new 14x16 Deluxe wall tent complete with 5 foot walls, a front porch and internal frame it is awesome to sit and visit at the end of the day, if it is cold outside! Cant wait for this years edition.

Anybody have more pics to add? From this year's hunting trips maybe?
We'll be heading out this weekend to get started on setting up camp, then next weekend out for a week.
Here are some pics of the 07 moose hunt. Picked up the tent at Campers Village on our way to the hunt and you can tell we never set up a tent with external poles.
How does the stove work? I was thinking about getting one of those for my 14 X 10 wall tent. Also, how long does the heat last from one, do you get most of the night out of it? Finally, what size is the one you are using? Thanks for the info! P.S. Great thread, I am getting lots of good ideas and hopefully can post my own pics after the first week of November.
