It's a sure sign of spring when you see so many leaf blowers out.

ALL the Oilers looked tired tonight from scoring all those goals yesterday.

the only difference is that they won't get the first rounder this year. Flames missed the playoffs for years in 9 or 10 spot. Now its edmontons turn and the flames will take first pick for a few years. It sucks but we need it for the rebuild. Flames fans will know what it feels like to be a oilers fan and vise versa.

Hahahaha....tonight will be my 1st game of this season to watch.
The lockout pizzed me off....but gotta watch my Bruins in the oldest NHL rivalry (Bears vs Habs).
Been a Bruins fan since a kid and especially after seeing the Great #4 Bobby Orr live in Vancouver.

Very BAD start though darnit!!!

Dominating performance by Sedins against AHL team tonight...but I think Flames fans have taking a good enough beating lately, plus many more years of losing, so I'll just leave it at that

Why?

Flamers fans have been some of the most unsufferable pukes known to sportskind over the years. Kick 'em while they're down I say. They've earned it.

Thats actualy a fall activity in Toronto, Spring they are usually out golfing, they should have picked up Iggy and then they would have had private lessons...

I feel for You Flames fans. Lots of tough years and second guessing your management ahead of you.

I hope you're dead wrong about the Oilers and hovering in that 9-11 spot like the Flames have been. This year shows promise and progress but the off season we'll see if Oilers management can make a couple tough choice to push the team over the hump.

It is a Laughs thing bb356. If the Laughs make the playoffs their fans think they are Stanley Cup Champions. Comes with being Losers Since 67! And not only Losers, but unable to even make the finals in any year since then. Futility with a capital "F"!

This avatar started on this thread so it might as well end on this thread.

Flames lose and Colorado will hopefully hold on for the win tonight to pull the Flames to within 1 point of last overall.

The Oilers playoff chances are all but extinguished with a loss tonite.

It looks like it will be the Hitmen vs the Oil Kings for the true Battle of Alberta

Oh man, great 3rd by Canucks. That's what great times do

But I have to say, watched the game on the Flames feed...who is your play by play guy and colour commentator? HOLY moly...absolutely HORRENDOUS. I feel even worse for flames fans that they have to listen to them while they lose. Worst commentators I've ever heard...make Peter Loumbardious (sp?) look good.
