Did 2 stands this afternoon, called this big male into 61 yds on the second stand. One of the bigger yotes I have shot.

Sitting up on a hill by a windmill calling to a slough about 500 yards away. This burr covered male came ripping across at about the 3 minute mark of some lightning jack on the foxpro. 130 yard shot with the .204 folds him up. Tough calling right now, having trouble getting them to react with all the warm weather and lack of snow! Give me -25 and a foot of snow!!

#24 for the year this morning. Called for about 20 mins then was about to leave when I spotted this big male. He had almost got across the slough bottom before I even seen him! 120 yard shot. DRT didn't even flinch.

Got this one today while walking to make a stand in one of my honey holes. It jumped up in front of me at about 30yrds and stoped at 50yrds took a free hand shot and let him have it with my 204 ruger and a 40gr. V max.

Yote #10
Went out today and found this female. Was a tough shot as she was standing in the shade of a tree with the sun shining in my eyes. It took two shots as the first shot took her hind leg off. I hate doing that but she ended up out in the open and I put her out of her misery. Can't wait to get out again.

Here was my first double. They snuck in to about 100 yards. Managed to get one then called another one in 15 minutes later. Not a true double but good enough for me.
This one was a young female that came in to a mouth diaphram call I like to use for a rabbit distress. Really raspy.
BIL and I got out for a good day and managed to get four. All last years pups as well as I can tell. Seen five in total but spooked the one when I got up too quick after the shot. Oh well. Keep em comin fellas!!!

Well, it's been 7 years in the making, but I finally pulled off a triple. It wasn't even call-in, it was spot and stalk. I snuck up on 5 of them laying in the tall grass and when they started running, I started shooting. Dropped two shooting off my knee and then threw the bipod down and smoked a third in the back of the head on the dead run (too bad I was aiming for shoulders though). I was feeling pretty good about shooting until I jumped another one in the tall grass and he gave me a front-on shot at 40 yards, which I had to take off-hand. I missed and I was pretty choked about that. The 'feel good' came back 5 minutes later when I smoked one at 350 yards. He went down hard and then got back up with some pretty intense carnage in his shoulders, and ended up going 3 km down the reservoir. I finally tracked him down and smoked him on the dead run at 60 yards. I have no idea how he made it 3 km with half of his shoulders blown apart, he wasn't even limping.
Here's the last one's shoulders:

Hi guys, got these last week, brings me up to 25. got the triple in one day, shot the first one and left it laying there, second one comes in not 15 minutes later and smells the first one and he stays there too, same with the third one, I guess the wind was blowing just the right way.

Was over visiting my mom and spotted this little guy mousing in the field at last light so i snuck up to about 100 yards and **** him with my 22-250. I'm gonna get him full bodied and passed another one i seen when walking into a stand since i only wanted one to get mounted, which worked in my favor since i called in four dogs. I hit one high and blew him up bad and didn't have my camera so no pics of him.

bbbbbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! -36 this morngin then the wind dropped and "warmed up" to -25. Perfect!!!
First stand dry..
Second stand had onecome in downwind of me. Was goign to take the shot at 300 yards but he winded me at the last minute ad bolted! Damn!
Third stand dry
Fourth stand, Had this one come bolting in. He went behind a small rise, Got my gun up, he comes around the side of the hill and stops to see what all the raquet is about. 100 yard shot DRT.
5th stand dry
6th stand I am sitting watching as the foxpro does its thing, Then there is a coyote about 20 yards to my left goig mach 5! He veers left and I have to take the gun off the bogpod and try a runing shot at 30 yards with the scope on 9x. Missed. Went to stand up and somehow got my shooting sticks tangled in my legs ad they snap in 3 pieces. Finally get up and take a another shot and miss again. See another booking it out of there as well. My fault, should have set up better to see over the rise infront of me! Nice silver colored dog, wish i could of had that one.
7Th stand dry.
8th stand I am sitting on the side of a hill with a good vantage point, Called for 5 mins and I see one pop up on the hill about 400 yards out then he puts on the after burners ad closes the distance. Was patient ad waited till he was insice 150 yards, he turned ad started to go across in front of me. I sat up, raised the gun the he stopped broadside at 130 yards, DRT good sized female.
9th stand dry.
Was a good day!
I have 26 down since the start of october

Well, the wind finally died down enough today that it was good to go for calling....got out of work later than I wanted to and only had time for 2 stands. Called this one into 60yds on the second stand. Decent sized male. It was so cold that I couldn't get the camera to stay on long enough for the timer to run it course, so no hero shot on this one! hahaha!
