I checked this morning and they now think that he may have had help from someone that they refer to only as "JY" and that he might have fled to Mexico. At this point I don't believe much of the info that the Police release to the media because they'll lie if they think that it'll help with the search or to calm people.

I'm willing to bet he's gone in the complete opposite direction. Mexico is to obvious.

This guy has planned for years, so it wouldn't surprise me if he was misdirecting the police. They have video of him filling up scuba tanks two days prior to his first murders. but that doesn't really mean much, considering his training.

I'm of the opinion that the whole announcement from the LAPD Chief about re-opening the investigation into this lunatics complaints is a just another measure hoping to flush him out rather than to actually seek any truth one way or another.

With the burned out truck and being down 2 AR-15's he's a little less armed at least. If he got to any cache he stashed away.... who knows, but obviously Nissan's flimsy axles had other plans in store for him. (My brothers front diff in his Titan caved too; perhaps this is a manufacturer flaw that actually saves lives )

That investigation couldn't possibly turn up anything anyway. Possibly because the gunman is full of ****. But even if he isn't, the possibility of him being the lesser of 2 evils in this whole mess is a cherry bomb in the outhouse for whatever political body has to deal with it.

That's an odd stement coming from someone who took the time to craft and post an insult. LOL

Constantly denying your true feelings isn't good for you in the long run kid. Take that as sage advice from an "old geezer"

Default Cnn, shoot out right now

They are at Big Bear in California. A shootout just happened, Dorner got away and more cops are down. They believe he has a missle. This is on CNN right now.

A car chase has ensued.

NOPE! The US uses drones on their own citizens inside the country. The government is not to be trusted! They kill civilians, including children. Samuel Weaver, The Black group in philly, The branch Dravidian in Wac, Texas.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Law enforcement officers have engaged in a gun battle in the mountains of California with a person believed to be a former Los Angeles police officer.

The noise of the gunbattle was broadcast by KCAL-TV, whose reporter suddenly found himself near the fight. Someone could be heard yelling at the reporter to get out of the area.

Road blocks are up around Big Bear, where Christopher Dorner's burned-out pickup was found Thursday.

Authorities have been conducting a manhunt in the area since last week.

He's accused of killing a couple and another cop.

Chance of an arrest? zero.

If he's carrying it he won't be able to carry much ammo and he will be neither highly mobile nor quick to aim such a cannon.

I hope they neutralize him without any more good guys getting hurt.

Now that he's a 'terrorist', and considering his .50 cal, any chance the Army has a lend/lease program on Apache AH-64's to police agencies, say like for an hour or so? No Hellfire's necessary, just the 30mm thank you very much.

50% chance he gets killed.
25% chance he gets away.
25% chance it's not him.
