Flames
They seem to have trouble in the second period.

I’m a Oiler fan first. Flames fan second. Dam rights if oil don’t get into the playoffs I’m cheering my Berta boys on!

Im the same way (vice versa of course)... last time the Oilers were in the playoffs (2005?) I was in there like a dirty shirt. And if all the Berta boys get bounced its bring on the Make Me Laughs!

Good attitude right there. I know I cheered oilers last time they went to finals, just wanted the cup to come home.

Yes, and yes....but the flames have also been terribly sloppy this game, directly led to both Avs goals. The shots tell a story.....28-12 Avs, and Flames blocked 15 or so too.

I wouldn't necessarily say he should be there over Johnny but I definitely think he should be there over some of the other double team selections, such as Seth Jones for example.

Certainly Johnny should be there, but as you say Gio ranks above some of the D selected. It's crazy that there are 4 Flames with 50+ points, and Gio closing in on that as well. What a season!

Get him a JERSEY!!! There is one team in this province worth watching this year. And it sure is not in Edmonton.

From watching the game in person POV. It seemed like the Flames just were not into it. Even Harvey the hound couldn't be found tonight. But what makes me think this team is good and I mean REALLY good, is the ability to turn it on when they want. So, they were slow, sluggish, no tempo, no checking, no digging but yet they still scored 5 goals. Thats kinda amazing actually.
They needed BSD tonight and he showed up. Not sure if he was first star material as Geo had 3 points I think?
Smith looked really good nailed to the bench taking care of the water bottles. Nice Gig for $5,000,000 a year.
James Neal. We specifically watched him tonight on a number of shifts. All he did was skate big circles and come off the ice. Willy has always been hopeful he would find his game but after tonight I believe he has changed his mind.
We have a excellent team. Playoff tickets will be hard and expensive to find.

I am so looking forward to watching him in the All star game. I do hope he is paired up with Johnny.
You will learn to love watching the magic that Johnny brings to the table. It makes me giggly at times. SO fortunate to watch him.

It's kind of unbelievable how bad, once you take out the top five teams, the Pacific and Central Divisions are. Colorado has two wins in their last ten and Anaheim has 1, with a -24 goal differential, yet they still hold down the wildcard positions.

Hello all, so I only caught the last 6 minutes of the game last night and that was watched on my phone. So got most of my info from the Fan this morning, and sounds like we won an ugly one. Which I guess is good as to grad 2 points even when we have an off night. 16 shots in a whole game? Yikes,
I hope the all star break recharges the crew, can't keep that up.
Anyways will take it.
What was the meltdown by McKinnon last night about? WOW that's one frustrated lookin dude.

It really was not great. I have seen much worse games at the Dome though. I still find it amazing they could play with that little enthusiasm and still score that many goals. They found a way to win.
