Thinki'n of hitting Carson next weekend June 14/15. Wondering how the ice is and if there is any opportunity to fish from the shore! Thank for any and all input!!

Nobody in the Whitecourt area can give me a report on the status of Carson??

I just received email from Carson and the ice is still a 12 inches thick up there and they are not clear when the ice will be melted.

Stopped in there today. There is no open water anywhere on the lake. I doubt that it will be boatable for the long weekend even.

Looked great to me
All you naysayers, it was an awesome weekend fishing May 13-15th. Ice on the lake with a large open patch on the n/w side on Friday nite, by the end of the day sat lake was completely open. Note the results!!
