Default Fishing the S.S.R.(Mon)

3 of us fished the South Sask. River today. 7 sturgeon landed with the biggest being 36in.It was the first trip for one of my buddys who hooked into to good 2 good fish. The fist one we never got a look at, but the second one did a big jump completely out of the water ,right in front of us . It was a good one. It pulled him around for about 5 minuts then it must have rapped around a rock or something and broke off.Lots of suckers and chubbs and 1 walleye.

Fun fun fun, gotta love it when they go airborne!
I am truly amazed at how few walleye are coming out of the SSR so far this year from what I've seen/caught.
Cheers n GL!

That was only the second walleye caught this season. But we have been fishing mostly with worms, the 2 walleye were caught on minnows.Even a couple of the the small ones jumped out of the water today .
