Default Digger Auger Carrier/Best way to mount an auger on snowmobile

Anybody have experience with this thing? Looking for some kind of way to mount my auger on the snowmobile to free up space in the sled. Also with an extension it’s too big to stretch the cover over everything

Seems like a lot of guys like to make their own?

Looks good guys, does the auger just sit in the brackets? No clips or anything?

IMO, put a hitch on your sled and pull a skimmer. Pack your auger and spare fuel, tent, fishing supplies, pails, your lunch cooler, etc. Some skimmers/toboggans have snap on covers to keep the snow off, if not you can get one made to fit.

Maybe it’s just me use to sledding in the mountains and having a camp setup and hauling all our gear and fuel in and out.

I prefer my auger separate and my gas from my tents quick access to run and Gun ice fishing

I find the auger flyte cuts everything it comes in contact with in the toboggan.
I had a carrier on my old sled, I'll probably put one on my new sled.
