No kidding, what a game! Just AWESOME ball.
Thought Springer was gonna go yard for a walk off, he was due stepping into the box 0 & 3.
I'm all Washington Expos this round. I'm a big Rodney fan, the oldest player in the league at a whopping 42 yrs of age. He used to be a lights out closer but Father Time is catching up to him quick, if he could ring that bell it would be a fitting end to his career. He has played for 10 or 12 different teams and never won the World Series.
Gonna be a GREAT World Series.

I can’t believe Chapman would throw Altuve a strike with a pinch runner/defensive replacement on deck. I would have walked the MVP and pitched to the guy that hasn’t swung a bat for a while.

Playoff baseball is the Best. I am glad to see that Washington finally made it to the World Series against anyone but the Yankees. Should be a good series.

I love the MLB playoffs.
Didn't care for a few of the early series. I'm not happy with the 'juiced' ball and all the home runs. I'm a purist. Manufactured runs, bunts, suicide squeeze, play for 1 run and bow your neck.
Should be a good series. Both teams have stud pitching. You can't get better than that.
Oh and Dan Shulman on ESPN radio. He's as good as it gets and I've listened to them all. Dizzy, PeeWee, Gowdy, Vin, Shulman is in that league.

I am cheering for the Nat's as well.....as for Altuve. the pitchers are in the MBL and they can hit pretty much any spot they want....A little chin music will not intimidate Altuve though...he is a toughy for sure.

Been a LOT of long balls these playoffs, especially the Yankees 'Stros series.

I'm all Expos, they are a team of destiny.
They barely made the post season and only cause of an error by the Brewers in the wildcard game then they ramped it up each round. When they stomped LA I knew they were for real, Dodgers are a great team.

2-0 WS lead in games makes it 8 straight without a loss, with a bunch of old guys.

Momentum.
The Nats had it, and lost it.
Can't see them winning the next 2 in Houston, especially the way the Astros are firing on all cylinders but I sure hope I'm wrong.

WOOT WOOT!!
Game 7 for all the marbles, dosent get much better than that!
Can't believe the blown call in the top of 7 when the ball hit the runner, what was he supposed to do, he was running RIGHT on the baseline? BRUTAL call, just glad it had no bearing on the final score.
Bizarre that Verlander can dominate the mound the way he does but as soon as he gets to the finals he just can't get it done, 0-6 now. Weird.

Runner clearly ran on inside of baseline to imterfere with the play ..it would be easy to tell if a.person could replay other times he has run to first and compare his tracking .
As for Verlander ? Well hes winless in the playoffs this year , if i was gonna use him it qould have been sparingly and maybe 4 innings at most , wheels seem to fall off after that , just like last night.

That was the dumbest call no doubt. Joe Torre needs to retire. Interference as you are stepping on first base? Brutal.

More than 50% of runners run inside the line. You have to. The bag is inside the line. That call was brutal. And the only reason it was made was because the throw was brutal.

You are supposed to run to first outside the line I believe. Lots of fields even have another chalk line a couple feet to the right

Again, and you have to have played the game to understand this, it is almost impossible to do that out of the box. Unless you are rounding the bag, you take a straight line. That is exactly what he did. The rule was not made for that particular situation.

I did play ball but never seen the game last night. I just watched a clip of the play and that was interference in my opinion
