diamond and bowtech make a model called a razor edge. complete package for around 400 bucks with 3 arrows. pick it up and ready to shoot. i believe specs are that draw weight is adjustable, easy enough you can do it, all the way to 30 inches. draw weight up to 30 pounds, unless you are knowledgable, ask for help with that. it is short and light, but will grow with the kid for a few years. it is a great package for a reasonable price. nearly all bow shops carry them.

I have the razor edge, great little bow. I have it set for 27" and 60lbs, but if you get the lower draw weight its upto i think 30lbs. Great starter bow, im enjoying it!!

My oldest draw length is 20.4 inch by the Arm span/2.5. I would like a bow that can grow with them. I never even new BowTech made a small small bow. I have looked at the Bear Apprentice and like the 13" of draw length adjustment. Martin makes a nice bow for kids but the specs a very limited.

Default Youth bow

I started all my kids with a small recurve, less gadgets and dodads to tinker with. I think us adults want to tinker with all the accessories where the kids just want to shoot. I have a set of recurves set up with matching arrows for any draw and weight, with sights. I am in St. Albert if your close stop and let your kid pick one out, I have to many and would like to see them being used. Would be around 150 for a set up with 3 arrows. PM me if your interested.

Default Diamond Nuclear Ice

I have 2 right hand Nuclear Ice bows. Will consider selling one. Wanted one for the young kids in my local club. Ended up with 2. As I don't have kids of my own, I'm sure I could part with one. PM me if interested.
