Nice Pike at Wabamun
That's great new's about the ice thickness at 2ft +. I was really hoping to get out next weekend. I'm all about trout being from B.C. What would a new-be pike fisher use for bait? Thinking of going out there on the 24th with the wife. Anyone interested in meeting up out on the ice?

The ice is still good to drive on. Hand auger will be a good workout but you will get through. I use Superstore Herring. Slit the bellies for added scent! Get the Pike harness that have the little silver flashers.

It weighed 15.6 lbs on the digital. Never measured her because I wanted to get her back as quickly as possible. It was my personal best Pike out of Wabamun.
