Why are u beating up somebody who never said he caught a brooder and even if he did who cares, it is going to dye and it gives the guy a rush.....i remember my first brooder out of the red deer river in about 1987 i was pretty excited it was the biggest fish i ever caught then..........but i never mounted or ate it i was still excited

Congrats on the walleye! I think I saw your pic in the new reg's manual.

1 was cought at millers lake the other at lake x both triploid and both over
10lbs. bbq one and smoked the other. millers lake gross, white meat muddy even smoked, had to keep tryed to realise but he was a floater. lake x pink flesh and tasted awsome!!!! and yes i am proud of a triploid over 10lbs landed on a 5 weight fly rod!

Maybe could have worded it a little different. Saw the fish and it is a brute for sure but I still want to know how they taste.

My understanding is they are mushy, that's all I was tryin to find out.
