The cheapest I've found that worked pretty good was a pit with a fire in it and some pointy sticks to put the marshmallows and weiners on.

If we are talking BBQ , with all the Oohhs and Aahhs I hear from my B-I L about his green egg.So now I have find something different, it's a roasting box uses briquettes on the top--- was channel flipping this morning saw one of these used by "The Flay" cooks a 62 lb pig in 4.5 hrs?
