They are out.
I took this photo on the way home this evening.
This was about a mile from our house and half a mile from a neighbors house.

I haven't seen them yet this year, but i don't doubt they are out.
I see the ice has lifted on several ponds so I know they can get out.

Think I would defiantly let the daughter take a poke at that one  I hope to take a drive and do some scouting with the spotting scope on Sunday for her if my foot will let me . Really a great pic nice to see thanks for posting.

Just got the word from the Bear Smart people. First bear sighting of the year in Mountainview County. Better lock up your women and children.
